I've become quite used to watching games from the comfort of my settee. I'd like to see this as an option in future. There's less twáts here than at Sixfields for a start

I didn’t renew my season ticket because of Covid-19 and the debacle that I knew would unfold, to be quite honest I’ve got used to watching from the comfort of my living room with ale and snacks at my finger tips as well as being warm.
I do prefer to watch live but I’ll give this season a miss, can’t help feeling we’ve all been robbed of a year of our lives.

Manwork , Season tickets were sold on the basis that supporters would be let back into Stadiums as and when it was deemed safe to do so. Why is that a debacle? What would you, with the benefit of hindsight, do to stop it being a debacle ?

I understand that we asked the EFL if we could move next tuesdays game against Fleetwood back to wednesday so that we could have 1000 fans in and then 2000 for the Doncaster game. Our request was refused presumably because Fleetwood would not agree as they are in tier 3 and not allowed to have fans in yet. Several other games have been put back to wednesday.

Quite a few Clubs were already playing on Wednesday, some of the home Clubs are in tier 3,some in tier 2.
West Stand OAP can you confirm which games have been put back to Wednesday?
NTFCs request to move their game to Wednesday was turned down, like many others.
Fleetwood being in tier 3 had no bearing on that request.

Sorry to hear that you have had Covid-19; clearly you seem to have made a good recovery. What are your health hints to those of us who escaped so far? Well done by the way👍

I've just had an email from the club telling me I've got a ticket for the Doncaster game on 5th Dec. I was in 2 minds about going but the ticket I've got is only about 10 seats from my ST seat, so I'll go.

Thank You Evers, cant really give you too many tips as it effects different people different ways. I was ill for over 3 weeks, didnt eat for a week, lost nearly a Stone in weight.Constant headache and tired, sleeping up to 19 hours a day. Never felt so ill, just kept drinking fluids containing sugar. Only after effects are shortage of breath and a cough from time to time.

Also just had my email and same as Carlton - got a space about 20 seats or so away from my usual spot in the North stand. Very pleased as I'm not able to go to the Lincoln game (I'll be asking the club to give my spot to someone else if I am invited).

For a start I think that Masks are a great idea and so does Prof Witty and Joe Biden
Yeah, they are not masks, just coverings. As I said in a previous post, I am qualified to speak on the matter. But, having said that, they are better than nothing. It sort of stops people sneezing on you whilst on the tube or the bus.
I can go in a pub, with a mask on, and cant order a beer, but I can eat a meal mask off. Whats the difference?
Rule of six says that a responsible adult cannot take six kids to feed the ducks, but a group of 30 blokes can get together and shoot them.
And by the way, Biden cant remember peoples names, let alone the launch codes.  Grin

Got an email today. I am not going as I am too old and decrepit, I have been trying to contact the club so that someone else can go. Its very complicated or is it just me.

It's not immediately obvious. There's a bit on the latest news announcement that says you can email ifollow@ntfc.co.uk if you want your ticket to go to someone else.

I too have had an email giving me a ticket, as I've planned surgery a few days later I'm isolating and unable to go. I have just emailed the club explaining this, hope the seat gets used

Better to be robbed of a year than taking an unnecessary risk and losing the chance to live the rest of it?

Apologies if this has been answered/confirmed elsewhere but I can’t see any reference to it on the NTFC website.

I’m a season ticket holder but live in Leicestershire which is Tier 3. Presumably I could not attend the game even if selected?

It’s got nothing to do with it being the club’s fault mate, it’s the whole COVID-19 debacle.

If you are selected and offered an opportunity to take up the allocation, if they haven't acknowledged already, you should ensure that the club are aware of your location and that you are in a Tier 3 area.
It may preclude you from attending however it may, with additional precautions (like tests etc), allow you to eventually attend.

Sorry, losing count!
Is the Doncaster game the trial (1000 limit) or Fleetwood Town?

Also, the club seem to think the Lincoln game on December 19th, a forgone conclusion in respect to fans (2000?) attending...a tad premature I would have thought!
