If you reside in a Tier 3 area and travel to a lower Tier area you must still adhere to the Tier 3 rules whilst in that area, which includes: "there should be no public attendance at spectator sport"

If you reside in a tier 3 area you should avoid travelling to other parts of the UK other than where necessary for a pretty strict range of criteria......attending a football match is not one of the criteria!

Season ticket holders living in tier 3 should not be allowed in - its as simple as that . I also think under 16s at school should not be allowed in but it’s only a personal opinion and understand if people disagree . You should only be allowed into the ground if you live in a tier 2 or below area and are coming without school children . The ironic thing is if you play in the UCL , you can play against a whole host of teams in Leicestershire and Lincolnshire as well as travel in and out of their regions without any testing ( as I understand it ) . That is plainly wrong , just like playing international games is wrong when there is a travel ban on in November .

I wonder if that will change....
The Youth Alliance is back this weekend but teams from Rugby, Bilton and suchlike are not allowed to play as nobody can travel there and they can’t travel outside of their area.

Notice from this site https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/search?postcode=NN3+2BU ; that Northampton is nearly in Tier 1 territory.

Apologies if I’m missing something obvious here, but why should no school kids be allowed in?

Because schools are super spreaders of the virus and therefore so too are children . The risk is too great .

so you are happy for kids to go to school along with teachers, putting themselves at risk for no real reward - but you dont want them sat outside, socially distanced from others? seems both fair and logical

At risk for no reward ? If you think attending a school has no reward then I suggest you have a quiet word with the authorities . Personally I would say going to school is somewhat more fundamental than attending football matches but I could be wrong of course . As I said , it’s a personal opinion that I don’t expect everyone to share but I don’t think children should attend games as part of a limited crowd experiment .
