Come in GPC, forum calling!

I thought West Stand OAP had done the preview for the game and left it at that.....

Oh well, as for Donny, their results have been a bit up and down. Managed by Darren Moore now, they've brought in a number of loan players this season, seven so far.

Top scorer is Ben Whiteman, an ever present midfielder who has four league goals and three cup goals, all 7 coming in the last 11 games so he's on a decent run. Spanish midfielder Madger Gomes has scored four, with Fejiri Okenabirhie weighing in with 6 in all competitions.

They appear to play a 5-4-1 formation with Okenabirhie as the lone striker, with Arsenal loanee Tyrese John-Jules coming off the bench and scoring a few including the equaliser at Hull in midweek. Another player coming off the bench is evergreen midfielder James Coppinger, he will be 40 years old next month and he has made over 700 appearances for the club over 16 years. Josh Sims is in on loan from Southampton and he played in the MLS for New York Red Bulls earlier this year. Matt Smith, on loan from Manchester City is a full Wales international and has played in most of their Nations League games in 2020

Slightly odd looking starting line up. Three at the back, Sammy and Marshall at wing back, three across the middle and then Holmes in behind Smith?

I'm never sure when Smith is on his own up top. He gets too isolated. He does better when he has another striker to link up with.

Sheehan misses out through injury, joining Mills and Pollock on the treatment table.

Others to miss out on the 18 today are Racic, Martin, Roberts and Korboa.

It "wasn't the type of game" for Chukwuemeka in midweek, obviously not his type of game again today as he only makes the bench. Ashley-Seal slips down to the bench again, an attacking looking bench with not a defensive player amongst them! Would have made sense to have either Racic or Martin there just in case surely?

Excited to be back in the ground and although it’s a limited capacity since it’s all season ticket holders and people should be hyped to be back hopefully Sixfields is bouncing... Just need the team to get a boost from it!

Sheehan will be a big miss no doubt
Shame not started Rose, he is sort of player I like and think him and Ricky would link well.
Marshall not a wing back ether

Admittedly I missed the game on Tuesday but Hoskins at left back, 4-3-3?

It isn’t a clash of kits. That’s the problem...

Surely it's going to be difficult for the players to know for sure whether someone in their peripheral vision is one of theirs or not?

Seems like a small thing but Keith & Co haven't given us enough to moan about in the last couple of weeks so this will have to do. Tongue

Pretty stupid to charge in for a tackle like that in the first 20 minutes, asking for trouble

Unfortunately, McWilliams has always been a liability...
