The most sensible suggestion on here for a long time. Ricky spoke with a lot of passion and didn't resort to all the same clichés that Curle trots out in every interview. I think we have a fairly honest group of players, and with a couple of exceptions, have enough about them to make a fist of staying up. With Curle continuing to pull the strings, however, we are doomed. I'm sure many thought this even at the end of last season a few months ago, but were afraid to say too much after a great couple of performances.
Bit OTT for Holmes and Sheehan to take over from KC if that is your proposal? Because a player speaks with passion is not necessarily a passport to Management; for example, Page was excited about joining Npton too!. That Curle resorts to '
the same clichés that he (Curle) trots out in every interview' is a bit unkind' as several fans I mix with never mention it as an issue. I suppose it is a personal thing for you? At this moment I do not think we are yet doomed; perhaps somewhat too early to be sure don't you think? Regarding KC's performances last season he got us into the playoff positions mainly due to a string of decent performances prior to February. Many on here thought we would not even make the playoffs! After the PlayOff win, KC was mostly full of praises on here but there were some who were much more guarded when praising him. Fair enough!
