Just saw an article Shef Utd are bottom of the premiership and Chris has said he would resign, if he can’t get his team motivated!! Just wondered if we should be cheeky and ask him Back to finish the job?? What do you lot think??

I think that statement means he's confident that he can still get his team motivated.

He stated years ago that he was sick to death of looking at the unfinished east stand.....

He won’t be coming back.

The only very outside chance is that Knill might want to go it alone. Being a No 2 to the same person for so long must be tough.

He's tried it and wasn't that successful. Bury, Sc***horpe & Torquay to name three. At Bury he was manager and Wilder was his assistant.

He may feel he's learned a few things from Wilder !

Seriously, Knill is a few years younger than myself and I still believe it was the others that were the problem when I was a Manager in business not me. I was astonished Allardyce got the WBA job after he'd seemed half asleep and very forgetful on that Quest Football League Review show a few days earlier.
