I bid on some shirts, mainly the early 90's away ones, but a few hours later they were gone off Ebay?
While I know they are your shirts, if someone messaged you offering money for them instead of bidding and playing a waiting game like me, isn't that slightly unfair?
I do understand it can be frustrating but when I'm offered more than what I think a shirt will go for via auction, then I'd be silly to turn it down. I've spent years building my collection and I'd be gutted not to get an items' true worth. You never know which way it will go via auction, as I myself have bought shirts for a steal in the past but equally, others have gone for far more than expected.
I still have 48 listed and won't be accepting any early offers on them. I was offered £1200 for them all but in all honesty, I expect with the shirts that I have left, that the collection will go for more than that. I've created a separate listing with a buy it now price on the whole lot but in reality, I think it will come will come to the individual auctions for each shirt.
On another note, what a great result tonight! Totally unexpected but a much needed 3 points! Hopefully Curle will keep the shackles off of the players and we can kick on. UTC
