Tabasco, he has already taken profit which is more than his initial outlay. He also had several £million before this investment, what he will not be doing is investing any in a football club as he has no interest in the game.
Has your friend sold these shares then?

No interest in the game a bit like our Mr Bower then?.. Those Tesla shares are closer to 900 dollars each now btw (they've gone up 624% since 24 April 2020 when I bought a few).

What you have to tell yourself Tabasco, is if they now halve in value you're still quid in.

Tabasco, he has sold part of his original holding which more than covered the cost of his initial total outlay and as far as I know is still running the profit on the remainder. However it is possible that he may have taken some more profit given the rise in share price over the week or so but it over a week since I last saw him. At the current share price the price/earnings ratio is ridiculously high and you would think people would be mad buying in at todays price but people pay little attention of PE ratios when buying growth companies.

Some of the questions that we had sent in we didn't have time for. Rather than ignore them though we sent them to the club and asked them to respond to the them. We've given those answers out on this week's podcast which you can listen to here: https://cobblerstome.com/2021/01/12/northampton-town-podcast-fans-forum-reaction/Questions include: - Safe standing
- Renaming of the North Stand
- Mandatory Covid testing in the EFL
- Beer tents
We completely missed Melbourne Cobblers' question about the original business plan. There was no vetting of the questions by the football club or by ourselves and the podcast is the full chat we had with KT, JW, KC and GW. Thanks for listening to it and for sending in your questions.

https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11760/12186701/lincoln-lost-almost-1m-during-the-first-four-months-of-the-covid-19-pandemicI found this article interesting.....and have always found Lincoln an interesting case study for what they have managed to achieve over the past few years in bouncing back from non-league, boosting gates from c2000 to close on 10000 and the like. Highlights of the article are that they lost £900k in the last 14 weeks of LAST year, but recovered £400k of that by working with fans, sponsors, investors and shareholders..... net loss for 14 weeks was around £500k Also goes on to thank season ticket holders for their loyalty, which they have rewarded (80% of them at least) by forgoing their refunds and giving them shares in the club in return. They have a regular turnover of around £5.5m so are similar in size to us (our turnover is c£4-5m if I remember correctly) and they cut their pro budget by 40%....yet they still sit top of the table. They are also questioning the very survival of the club should they not get fans back in late on this season or certainly by the start of next season. We (as a club) should take note of some of their comments, certainly the fans reward one! We as fans though should also take note that if their Chief Exec is saying what he's saying then the future for many a lower league club is decidedly dodgy.
