Our Lord, we sit in subjugation, we praise thy worth,
We repent all that has gone before and herald a new dawn.
We ask that our basket be filled with future riches.
Our hearts are earnest, our hopes remain.
We are filled with the light of thy giving.

Our only desire, our only glory will but wither
Lest we beat these arses from Oxon.
So it is written.

Game off - I bet we were out with the hoses last night so we don't have to play until we have Sheehan and Jones available again!

When was the last time we had a postponed fixture at home? I remember we have managed to get games on in some shocking conditions in seasons gone by. The cynic in me agrees that we are probably trying to buy some time for players to get fit etc.

Not that its a bad thing, we need our best XI available at all times if we are going to stay up!

With 2 points out of a possible 24 on a saturday and 10 points out of a possible 12 on a tuesday the cancellation may work in our favour.

Emmmmm clutching at straws springs to mind. Still not a bad thing it’s postponed as said gives more time for recruiting, Covid and injury recovery.

The zoomed in picture of one part of the pitch? I am not saying that its for certain, but I think if we were bang in form then we would probably be giving ourselves more time to try and get the game on.

It wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if the sprinklers were on last night either.

It’s a picture of the mat in front of the dugouts, has all the hallmarks of a Wiltshire effort on it.

If there was one thing I would change about our game it would be to play a higher line. We sit too deep too often and our forward players end up being detached. If only I had some coaching badges my opinion would have some credibility?

Remember when Soccer AM used to joke about games being postponed because of Wharthogs on the pitch?
I'd guess the Ref looked at our pitch and thought that was exactly what had happened! Grin

I'm thoroughly pissed off with the game being cancelled today. I've had a s*** week at work and with no other plans and limited options for the weekend I was actually looking forward to it. Don't get me wrong, I was fully expecting us to put in a s*** performance and get our arses handed to us, but desperate times call for desperately poor entertainment...
