Well, you have kept repeating it but KC thinks otherwise. Presumably you have ignored the fact that Sheehan was out?
Sheehan is a centre back, and has played at centre back. Harriman is a right back, and played today at right back. If you're going to try to start arguments at least base them on something worthwhile. Even if their best positions were both at right back, it still would not change my point. My point is that Harriman isn't good enough to play for us.

No commentary on ifollow for me either. Any reason? Having said that almost preferred just having some background stadium sound. Sorry to disagree with many but thought we were very poor throughout and that Lincoln won comfortably enough without too many problems. Difficult times ahead I fear.
Depends which audio you chose, there's a choice of Home or Away audio under the settings. Home would have been Radio Lincolnshire and Away would have been nothing as Radio Northampton weren't allowed to travel.

I thought we started very well, we caught Lincoln off guard early on and should have capitalised on the amount of corners we got.
Morris was very solid and allowed us to get our foot on.the ball. Miller looked quality, j really hope he isn't out for too long. The game changed after he went off. Edmondson started well but disappeared after Miller went off.
We definitely ran out of steam and ideas in the 2nd half and reverted to type which was disappointing.
The substitutions were awful. We seem to just give up playing football in the 2nd half limping it to BAS who was ineffective.
As for Korboa, I really want him to succeed but he looked like a competition winner today. He looks bereft of confidence and scared to take people on. There was one particular incident where he had Walsh 1 on 1 and just seemed to make no attempt to get to the ball.

I called Harriman out weeks ago and at the start of the match he’s an awful defender, but bringing Korboa and BAS on instead of Marshall and Rose is unforgivable.
100% Both Ricky and Seal will be in non league in not to distant future. Rose and Marshal are best footballers me have, dont understand why they arent starting.

Agreed, based on today’s performances nor are Mills, BAS and Korboa.

i am surprised he played 4 3 3 but it answered where we fit Miller in the side , wide on the left . The problem is , Mills is a wing back and not a full back whilst Harriman is not really up to division 1 standard . It leaves us exposed down the flanks . What on earth he was doing bringing Korboa on i don’t know . We strengthen the side by drafting in higher league talent and then bring on non league standard players during the game . i just hope Miller will not be out for 4/5 weeks .

By an argument I hope you mean debate; certainly not an argument as you put it. My point is that Harriman would not have played had it not been for Sheehans injury/absence?

It is quite clear with those substitutions that K-Kurl has no idea how to change a game. Surely he should retire now.

That home option didn't work for me, despite trying numerous times. Was watching via my phone, though really don't see how that would make a difference!

Assuming he sticks with the same formation, then I totally agree with this (assuming new lad is crocked).

Missed Tim and Gazman has a point ...'careful what we wish for' after the Lincoln commentator performance. As for the game thought we were somewhat unlucky not to gain a point. The Hoskins penalty appeal seemed justified and by the Commentators too! Hoskins hit the post and Rose's goal was a well deserved a sweetner. Can understand Harriman's selection even if some did not - after all this was the guy who was outstanding at Wembley. He has played reasonably well at times at this season. Simply cannot understand the degree the amount of unjust criticism he draws; as one Admin puts it the tinkerman taylor etc the expert untrained view of the moaners. Was astounded by our opening 35/40 mins as we looked the better side, alas with no final cutting edge! Hint to KC. Defensively we were ok but as the midfield tired we began to lose control more so after Miller went off. As for Rose being named as a sub seemed on the face of it a poor one. His goal was magnificent and he should be playing even in place of Hoskins, Harriman etc. Certainly the midfield was capable but a bit disconcerted that during the second half they struggled to assert any meaningful authority; was crying for Mr Watson to add some 'bite'. Bolger was our man of the match for me, Morris introduced himself well but did he fade a bit 2nd half? As for Edmondson , hardly seemed to notice him, sort of beginners display a la Morton. If Rose goal had secured a point then we all be purring but for all that it was a great improvement on some dismal previous displays. I think KC played the way he did as he had nothing to lose as he suspected a possible loss. In the end we ended up with plenty of plaudits but no points

The audio on Radio Northampton DAB with the ifollow vision worked well, with the bonus of no adverts before the game!
People are appreciating the quality of Tim and co compared to other stations.

I started listening to the audio on Radio Northampton too, but quickly gave up as it was about 30 seconds ahead of the action on the pitch, so what they were saying was not what I was seeing. I guess watching the game without audio is a bit like watching the game in the stadium without being able to discuss matters with the bloke next to you. I did get a bit cheesed off with KC shouting 'Millsy' all the time, I thought he was shouting at me !!

I did not click on the ifollow commentary but used a seperate radio and did not have the delay.

Overall I was greatly encouraged by yesterday’s performance - it was just a shame we lost momentum when Miller had to go off, but I’m optimistic that a corner has been turned.
We were actually the better footballing team first half (even Appleton would have to accept that) and dominated possession. Harriman’s brilliant clearance off the line deserves a mention as it would have been cruel to go in half time 1-0 down.
Unfortunately we couldn’t keep it going in the 2nd half but credit to Lincoln who upped their work rate and pressed us back.
We were unlucky with the penalty appeal because it’s one of those that would be given 50 percent of the time. The defender slid in front of the ball with his challenge and missed it, but also didn’t make contact with Hoskins legs so that’s probably why it wasn’t given. However Sam had nowhere left to run so you could argue was brought down. Even then the defender handled the ball while on floor...
If that’d been given we’d probably have come away with a point but all in all the scoreline was about right.

Chose not to watch this on ifollow and listened to our Tim on the radio while watching events unfold across the country on Sky's soccer saturday. Strange that Tim was not allowed to go and had to do his commentary from the studio yet Sky had a reporter at the ground. 1 rule for tv and another for radio. I was not surprised that we started with a back 4 as I had predicted this for the Blackpool game. The only surprise in the starting 11 was the experienced Rose being replaced by the inexperienced Edmondson who I would have started on the bench. As Korboa was the only wide player on the bench I can see why KC put him on when Miller went off but he is still to prove he is up to it. More disappointing than the result was the injuries to Miller (hamstring, so could be missing for a while) and Sowerby (knee, as he initially tried to carry on hopefully not too serious).

There's a case to be made the first 45 minutes was our best half of football so far this season. I was listening to the Lincoln commentary and they were very complimentary about our attempts to play football through the midfield. They saw it as a complete transformation in terms of style and work rate from the dour hoofball we had served up in our 4-0 defeat against them a month ago.
I think we finally saw glimpses of what Curle has been trying to achieve with the 4-3-3 formation which we started the season with. The movement of Miller and Hoskins either side of Edmondson caused them a lot of problems.
However, the problem with this formation IMO is that you need a very specialist type of player to play in the 'wide forward' role. Miller is perfect because he's pretty much a hybrid of a striker and a winger. This is probably controversial, but I also thought Hoskins (a similarly 'hybrid' player) had a very good game in this role and looked dangerous when running with the ball and pace.
However, it was soon clear that the likes of Korboa and BAS lack the kind of specialised game intelligence to come in and replace one of the wide forwards. It also wasn't really working when we tried playing Rose in this role earlier in the season.
However, his superb cameo at the end suggests it's worth giving him another go alongside a frontman with better movement (Edmondson rather than Smith)

Also it was annoying to see the goals come up on Sky before being scored on Tim's commentary.
