Mills is probably the only player who is really a wing-back and IMO Hoskins can do a job in that role as he has the energy, pace and stamina to get up and down and is better defensively than the other attacking wide player options. However, that's ot really enough, especially as Mills is 30+ and may also be injury prone.
Perhaps the fact that none of the 3 players signed in the window so far are wing-backs, is an indication that KC is dropping this way of playing. This would seem to make sense, as we'd probably need to sign 2 to be able to guarantee playing this system effectively on a regular basis.
