I do take that back and apologise. Was thoroughly pissed off at last night but that comment wasn’t needed.

True Gent & Supporter- thank you. Cool

Well we had 46% possession but it would not have mattered if we had 76% as all the old failings were there. Little creativity, misplaced passes, crosses from out wide and dead ball situations either too near their 'keeper, hitting the first defender or overhit and found wanting defensively for both goals. Yet surprisingly the other 6 teams in the bottom 7 all have conceded more goals than us and some considerably more.
The old question remains, where are the goals coming from?, we have scored once in the last 4 games. Last season we were prolific from corners and set pieces and all 3 centre backs contributed a few goals each but this season the centre backs have very few. Watson is the only midfielder who regularly scores and up front  we are relying on Miller and Rose as the other strikers don't look like getting many, Sam can chip in with a few.
Maybe when we play those teams around us this month we will get more opportunities given their poor defensive records. With Wigan, Burton and Rochdale to come here and Swindon away we really cannot afford to lose any of these games and let them have 3 points. We should be aiming for a minimum of 8 points from the 4 games.

So so poor from Bolger for both goals. How can this man be captain of the team, it's a joke. Only Sheehan can be counted on in defense, but given we can't score a goal to save our lives at the moment things aren't looking too promising at either end with a view to staying up. And whilst the midfield is stronger than it was, we aren't doing anything with the increased possession.

Saying that, the table is so very tight we're going to really kick ourselves if we go down because some clubs are really falling apart at the moment. You look at results elsewhere like the hammering Bristol Rovers got and think, we've got a chance of staying up. But not with performances like that we haven't.

The next 10 days will basically reveal all. If we don't give a much better account against Wigan and Burton then I'm afraid Thomas has consigned us to relegation through his inaction and we're going to have to reset all over again. But we'll have to be grateful about it because he showed good housekeeping and didn't overspend during a temporarily difficult period for the club financially, that will only be exacerbated by a relegation.

I'm glad I didn't pay to watch it. It was bad enough listening to Tim's commentary  Angry

Ignoring the first hour when we were 5 at the back as it was just the same as everything else this season.

In the last 30 minutes when we did give the ball away it was strange as it was hard to see what the player should have done. There seems to be know set plays or passing patterns. Every one is static so it does not take a lot of pressing to close off all of a players options.

Ditto. I'd love to have some of Tim's optimism though.

Firstly it’s not really a criticism and secondly it could be interpreted as a potential wish. It follows your type of criticism/opinion. After all you don’t like KC - yes/no. Another thing what have you got against Happy Clappers; they are fans after all?

A very wise decision mate, although I enjoyed watching Blackpool move the ball well and the pace they had all over the pitch, they are one of the best sides we’ve played and wouldn’t be surprised to see them in the play offs.

Needless to say I won't be watching Saturdays game against Accrington either.

Glad Blackpool beat Lincoln, much better team on the day against the best team in league one.

Keshi looked excellent for pool, Morton couldn't get into it and Regan Poole completely fluffed his chance for glory.

The Sky commentator was outrageously biased towards Lincoln too so up the seasiders.

As someone said on another thread, the three defeats which we had in our last 8 games were all against sides who will be playing Championship football next year which puts things into perspective.

I liked the way that Brady talked about Blackpool's playing style and I think he might go for something similar next year.

I'd be happy with that.
