We're getting all these corners and they are either not clearing the first man or sailing out for a goal kick past the far post! Bloody basics missing again...

We’re playing ok, obviously feel at home on the quagmire of a pitch. We really should be winning this

Hoskins again shooting when a pass would have been a better option!

But you wouldn't have complained if it had screamed in? Grin

Conditions definitely working in our favour, they don't seem to know how to deal with it but we look dangerous on the break playing direct. Only criticism is that we should be 1-0 up and would be if Rose and Hoskins were a bit better at timing their runs.

The Accrington commentator is very good, but the summariser is not.

McWilliams has been brilliant today, Hoskins been good as well. Their defence is very unbothered from our set-pieces, but we've had a lot of possession in their area and at some times they were struggling to get the ball which was great to say. Really need to see that same performance in the second half.

Decent first half and we created some half chances. Probably the better side so far to be fair. Goals still looking like they'll be hard to come by though and our inability to win headers at free kicks and corners is unbelieveable with the height we have in the side. We need to attack the ball more.

Good half - think we were the better team but we need to create some
clearer cut chances.

Listening to the Accy commentators who have correctly identified McWilliams as out best player - how he ever finds himself out of the team is beyond me.

Can't remember a Cobblers side who have carried so little threat from set pieces. We've had loads of corners today but haven't even gone close from any of them. Have we scored from any corners this season apart from Bolger against Fleetwood? I don't know if it's the delivery or the lack of decent heading ability once the ball goes in.

Lads have put in a shift first half but again lacking  a bit of craft and composure.
Maybe Marshall to run at their massive defenders?
