I think the problem is that normally fans look at a striker missing 3 chances a game and long for a proven goal scorer. The only player we have who does that is Hoskins but in his defense he creates over half through his own graft.

We really do not create enough chances.
That’s because we have a team of midfielders that run around a lot, under Curle that’s fine because he didn’t believe in midfield players and choose to tell his donkey center half’s to hoof it into the channels or onto the head of a 6’7” “striker” now we make an attempt to play through the thirds the team is utterly devoid of any quality, let alone a playmaker, it’s no wonder we don’t create anything.
Morris is a close to a bit of quality in midfield we have and he’s about as interested in NTFC as Thomas.

The use of the word 'natural' is deeply misleading.
He only scores the number he does because of the sheer volume of the largely wildly optimistic attempts he has.
Not always the best use of a ball.
Is there a table showing the goals scored to attempts at goal ratio of individual players? There must be I imagine, there's a stat for everything these days.
Bet Sam rarely troubles the top half.
