Whatever people say about Sammy, that lad is a battler - he was out on his feet at the end there and still got back to win a critical tackle.

After Hoskins applied his usual quality finish it was like someone flicked an on switch and our confidence came flooding back. I feared we would be stamped on but fair play, we came back swinging. What has happened to Horsfall he is unrecognisable from a few months ago?

Credit where it’s due, the team battled well tonight, special mentions for Marshall, Morris , McWilliams and Hoskins.
Michell got lucky with that shot.
Well done Brady that’s more like it ...

More importantly a good and composed finish, nice to see us take one of our chances

Enjoyable game tonight. That was a really good team performance, every player battled and did their jobs well. Great to see Rose in the starting line up and I think he led the line well. And a lovely finish from Sam Hoskins bringing home three massive points.

Unfortunately some people on here will only ever see his flaws. Huge relief at today's win. Soooo important. I really think it was make or break tonight.

Well I totally missed the last five minutes or so, the internet slowed right down and ifollow just ceased to proceed. My internet connection is usually very good, so I've no idea what happened there. I see we won, any last minute alarms? I cannot understand why BAS came on ahead of Edmondson or Jones but it worked out ok anyway.

A great gritty win after a slow start.

All credit to the players who battled to the very end.

Great performance and a much needed 3 points.....must follow it up by at least avoiding defeat at the Wombles on Saturday.....a two goal defeat for us would see them climb above us with two games in hand.

One win down..... four (?) to go........

Sorry but I don't get the Rose love in. As much as I'm buzzing about tonight's win and yes ,he set the goal up and held the ball up a couple of times and probably put a tackle in once or twice, as an actual striker, he did nothing, although not sure he's any worse than any of any of our so called actual strikers.
