The very same was being said about McCann by Pooh fans when failed to win in 7 games and subsequently got sacked. Prematurely?

Brady isn't out of his depth, the badly assembled squad is. If you had swapped the squads around on satdee, McCann may have looked less than adequate.

He's not been able to bring in his players and is working with the after effects of an "experienced" manager.

Who's your management choice for guaranteed success?

Why not appoint the current Wales caretaker manager?

Why not appoint the current England U-21 manager?

Why not appoint the manager of the form team of the last 2 months at Burton?

The strange world of football managerment!

In the Brady Bunch we trust.

Over to the players!

Exactly.

Just to add to the debate, after last night and based on results alone you could level that both Carlos Corberan at Huddersfield or even Jurgen Klopp were out of their depth.

Brady has been given no time whatsoever and inherited a mis-shaped, un-balanced frankly impossible squad. I wouldn't judge his ability on a one off maybe forced experiment against a Hull team flying. They had even pinpointed our game as a must win.

The team rebuilding in the summer should be led by Brady, Sampson and Richards.

 Grin quite possibly!

However, I'll take having a strong opinion over splinters in my arse any day.

Nail your colours to the mast sir, if not Brady, who would you put in charge and why?

At the moment I'd give the JB Bunch a go, even if we go down.
He'll be learning as he goes along and we can't deny that his heart is in it. As long as he limits his public displays of that emotion.
If I wasn't given the chance to make mistakes whilst learning along the way, as long as they weren't fatal, I would have been binned in a number of things a long while before my career had even started.
Fatal to us would be dropping into the National League, not League Two.
Whether the management and/or the fans have the patience or understanding to allow him that time and short term reduction in performances whilst going through that period, is the question.
But I would stick with them (JBB) and give them that opportunity.
Is that nailed enough? Wink Cool

Must say I am ever so slightly annoyed at the inconsistency of opinion. Curle gets criticised for being a one trick pony. Brady mixes it up and still gets nailed for it? Fair enough it didn’t work, but being realistic going toe to toe with Hull and playing them at their own game was probably even less likely to? On a positive note had we have been hammered 5 or 6 nil our confidence, which is fragile at the best of times, may have taken a real knock at the worst possible time? Also, parking the bus and losing protects a sides ego a bit because they haven’t been given a good hiding whilst throwing their best shots? I accept there is good justification for arguing that we should have stuck to the new approach and had a go. However, I am not sure that JB deserves the criticism he’s getting for the strategy he took because the idea did have merit, it just didn’t come off?

Nailed perfectly!

Give them a go, if its not looking terrible by Christmas and we are sinking in league two then make the change back to the old routine. Any new manager really needs a window to make effective changes.
