There’s talk of our lot bringing a fair few up to your place on Saturday with recent UK travel restrictions being dropped and the hill behind the ground being public land. I just wanted to find out if the club or police have anything in place to stop fans doing so it isn’t a completely wasted journey. Best of luck for the rest of the season.

Thanks for giving the Old Bill advanced warning of your plans, that should give them every opportunity to put their own plans in place

I don't see the point in seeing one goal, if you're lucky. Although, some of our fans have been doing it on a regular basis. Police and stewards will be attendance I would have thought. By the way, you don't mean your last sentence, do you?

The view is shyte, I wouldn’t bother, you’ll be able to come in next season when we are both in league two.

Thinking about it, if they have a good game they’ll see sod all first half and possibly some action second half? If they have a poor game they’ll see us have 1 or possibly 2 attempts on goal first half and Mitchell doing some stretching movements and kicking the ball into touch second half?

If you don’t already know the answer to whether “bringing a fair few” to a behind closed doors game is a good idea there’s probably not much we can help you with.

Seriously though, what no one is bothering to tell you, there's a six foot wooden fence been erected along the length of the bank. You can see sod all from the hill.

1001 things people can do with a lift in many restrictions, yet you want to come to Northampton and view half a game from the top of a hill Get a life, get a grip.

You're not allowed in the home end. You can see the South end goal through the gate in the away end. It's gonna be like '98 all over again so wouldn't bother.

I had a little drive past on at about half 2 on Friday and there were a few on the hill along with a couple of either stewards or police. I wasn't really paying that much attention

Ironically, my only away game this season...couple of us on the ales around Bristol on the day. Didn't get any further up the Gloucester Road than Stokes Croft!
