Whenever I've thought (this season) this next match is going to be a real humdinger, dog eat dog, end to end, bottom of the table dog fight it's ended up the same old error strewn, limited action let down. I put it down to the lack of a crowd but it's happened all too often.
This is a real 6 pointer at the sharp end of the season so....................................probably 0-0 or 1-0 with loads of time wasting.
Will Joey keep his cool ?

According to recent Bristol Media Poll majority of BR Fans want him out, thinks he is bad news for them and terrible appointment. Their Forum is very divided on him.

Bristol Rovers and ourselves have the worst away records in the division with 14 points from 20 games. In fact they are identical except we have scored 1 more goal. Also both teams have failed to score in 10 of the 20 games and both have 4 clean sheets. 12 of Bristol Rovers 14 away points were gained in their first 8 away games and their last league away win was at AFC Wimbledon on 5th December. In their last 12 away games they have just 2 points from 0-0 draws at Posh and Fleetwood and 10 defeats, scoring just 6 goals and conceding 25. Before they beat Doncaster on Monday they had lost their previous 5 games so their JB is doing worse than our JB. We have this year lost to the other 4 bottom 6 teams but in the first set of fixtures we only lost to Bristol Rovers so it stands to reason they will be the only ones we beat in the second set of fixtures. It appears they have Rodman, Kilgour and Grant who may all be available again after injuries and we will need to keep an eye on their loanee Luke McCormick. We have won 4 of our last 5 home games against better teams than Bristol Rovers so there is no reason we cannot beat them.
All set up for a big loss for the Teyn then.

James Henaghan has given an interview to the Bristol press on our strengths and weaknesses...is it just me or is it ok to share information before such a vital game?

We are hardly conceding too many, only the top 3 have more clean sheets than us this year.

Conceding too many to win any games, i.e. more than zero goals.

You are certainly having a wobble at the mo'. Strengths possibly the defence; they have at least improved, midfield also doing a bit better mainly thr' Watson. Fwds - well Marmite man Hoskins keeps trying as do the luckless Edmondson, Marshall, Rose and .....?

Not really sure why Edmondson is luckless? he was lucky to be given his only goal that was probably already over the line and I can’t really remember any situation where he’s been unlucky.

I suspects it’s going to be a nervy niggly affair. One major incident will probably settle it- a dodgy pen? An incorrect sending off? A goalkeeping howler? My heart says one nil to us. My head is too anxious to think straight!
