Talking of goalkeepers and watching Quest throughout the season, there are a lot of Third and Fourth Division keepers who must struggle to justify their title.  Some of the stuff on there each week is comical, far worse than I've seen from some of ours in the recent past.  Grin

Didn't KT & DB sign the CDNL land over to NTFC a while ago ?

From Kelvins open letter to the Trust on 3rd August 2020.....

https://www.ntfc.co.uk/news/20202/august/trust_open_letter/

"The current legal position is that the Football Club controls all the leases on all the relevant parcels of land either through NTFC or through its ownership of CDNL.  Please bear in mind that technically NTFC has never owned CDNL prior to our ownership, so this has already become an asset for the Club, that the current owners have given to the Club and therefore a benefit for NTFC."

Note the part about "relevant parcels".......

I apologise if you spat out your tea Melly, but are you specifically referring to hotel development projects?

Everyone I know here is either working for, managing or developing hotels on every level. In the past 12 months I know of 2x USD25-30m quite average development projects which gained funding with a variety of options. For some in the sector this is the very time to forge ahead with the competition leveled slightly. Maybe we are skewed here in SE Asia by the Chinese market/demand but there are plenty of financiers out there if you have the land and the right project.

Sorry I don't wholeheartedly agree but please hold your incredulity and take it out on me in the redev.  Wink
Projects generally, but specifically involving a football connection. Only my opinion Steven, and as I repeatedly state I could well be wrong. If I am I’ll eat my hat, but I’ve had to do that before as well.

Edmondson is nowhere near good enough as a striker. He runs around a lot but has no instinct or finishing ability . Leeds will get rid and he might end up in midfield i think .
Regarding the manager - given the injuries and the inability to sign or get rid of anyone , JB has done the best he could do . If he had a goalkeeper to replace Mitchell with , he would have done . If he had a striker that could take a couple of shots at goal in a football match , he would play him.
The recruitment has been terrible and the wages we pay are not competitive in this league.
i personally think he will get offered the job and a different structure put in place on recruitment and development .
There is no direction given to the club .
it comes across in the budget , the stand , the way in which individuals get away with stuff and the remoteness of the board . We are going nowhere currently .

This is a complete load of tosh Shocked
Personally I thought Mitchell played well tonight so any chance of a comment or two on his performance!

What part of this is tosh ?
Mitchell played well against Ipswich but has cost us previously .
He won’t be retained by Derby and will not be coming back here either .

One thing I can promise

Watson and Alex Jones won't be here next season

Post season transfer talk will be all be centred around if our best players will stay ALA Goode, Oliver , Holmes, Pierre, Bayo, Jackman, Osman but to name a few.

Im sure following the trend, they will move on to better things and we will likely sign someone whose not as good

On the plus side I think Danny Rose next season will do us a job

BAS is the worst Cobblers player I have ever seen.
Edmundson is getting slagged off but he’s like Messi compared to BAS.

Ashley Corker was worse, absolute shambles of a pro footballer.

I’m serious when I say BAS is on par with the legend that is Alistair Slowe.

If that job is score 8 or 9 goals and lead us to mediocrity.

Where's that on a Greg Campbell Scale (of 1-10) ?

Graham Carr did, though I don’t think turning up late helped!
