How well did he defend? After all that’s what he gets paid to do.

Looks like it was only an away trip to Arsenal in the next round up for grabs!

I think we would have been a different ball number to ball number 1 though so difficult to say if we would have had Arsenal.

We would not have been going to Arsenal as the clubs were numbered alphabetically so AFC got number 1.Had we won all the other clubs alphabetically would have moved up 1 number and we would have replaced Millwall as number 14. Millwall are at home to Leaicester but we would not have been at home to Leicester as they would have been number 9 instead of number 10. Therefor we would have been at home to Liverpool.

Half the first team & half the reserves vs Arsenal U21's in a half filled (if lucky) stadium. Basically a glorified pizza cup game

edit
Half the first team & half the reserves vs Liverpool U21's managed by the reserve team manager in a full sixfields stadium. Basically a glorified pizza cup game

Well we beat Liverpool away so they shouldn't have been any trouble on our own patch. Then maybe we could have got one of the big teams in the next round.
Looks like we have missed out on a sell out crowd as no matter what team Liverpool sent I think we would have had one.

I think you know Liverpool at home in the EFL cup is a lot different to the Pizza cup.
It would have been a nice little earner for KTs sky rocket

That wouldn't have bothered the Cobblers "glory fans" who would have sold out the game even at £40 a ticket!  Grin

No, because if we had won the stars would not have aligned and the globe would have warmed to an alarming level and Charlie would still be on the sticks.

Calculated but assumes the same combo of numbers would be pulled, which in a parallel universe of Maxted stopping the shot and us winning on pens is unlikely.
I think most will work on us missing out on Arsenal away, or more likely Rochdale away  Grin

What ever the point made and that is open to interpretation*, is that it was overruled by different ball numbers for each round. So there Grin Cool

* Possibly Newcastle away and poor pay back and reduced show-casing for ambitious players.
