Can I say that having googled a 1981 Leyland Leopard, two things spring to mind.
St Trinians school girls hanging on the side, waving hockey sticks around,
Lots of people with dreadlocks driving up and down Wiltshire, disrupting military convoys, making funny noises at Stonehenge, and giving fat birds a lift to Greenham Common.
Each to their own though mate, Im pleased that you had lots of fun.
Where did you go anyway? If you dont mind me being nosey.
Ha ha, not far away there was no doubting it was a crusty bus!
Many pierced lesbians but less hockey sticks. I lived on it for a while and went to lots of festivals selling a few mushrooms along the way, Bug Jam at Santa Pod s few times too. You may possibly have got stuck behind me in Wiltshire, passed through many times. The toilet had a valve on it, tank or straight out, it was dumped out (by accident) driving through Swindon once near the CG
The benefits of a bus and much of the fun can be had in Town and City centres, most have free parking for busses up to 4 hours and of course you can use all the bus lanes, I went through the Greyfriars many times, even dropped my mates in a bay to the confusion of some shoppers.
When you don't have to ask, "how do we get there and where do we stay?" everywhere is open!
I didn't suggest the team having a Leyland Leopard though, more presentable options are available very cheap. Thinking of a new car, forget it, get a bus instead much more useful.
