Hoskins will eventually either retire from Cobblers as a squad player, or move to a rich Conference club for his twilight seasons to help get them promoted. Cant see him leaving now for another L1 or even L2 club.

If Sam was out of contract there would be a veritable scrum for his services. 15 league goals in 38 League One appearances in 2023/24 tells it's own story (on top of 50 league goals in the last three seasons often playing as a box to box midfielder rather than an attacking midfielder as of now). He also provides cover for the defence and assists for others.

Why on earth would we consistently offer him new and better contracts and why would so many ex-managers speak so highly of him? Over the last seven seasons he's only missed 28 league games (an average of 4 a season).
Why hasn’t he been offered a big money move or even an offer KT couldn’t refuse?

We don't know that offers have not been made, KT previously said we have our valuation so if offers did not reach our valuation they would not be put to the player regardless of much more the offering club were willing to pay the player.

It appears people issue statements on Hoskins without appreciating the player wishes or they are in the know or likely rely on posters who strongly voice their opinions in such a manner that they are truly ITK - big time!

Like I said if any offers received did not match the clubs valuation of the player said player will not be made aware of the offer unless the offering club comes back with an offer that does meet our valuation. Do you expect KT to tell us that club A bid £X for a player but valuation is £Y?

No but the master of spin and BS KT would say we’ve received an offer for the scamp but we turned it down etc etc and he never has.

Apparently whilst they were in the Championship Wycombe Wanderers made an offer and according to the Chron Hoskins was informed of the offer but showed no interest in the offer! Thought this was common knowledge for all those in the know!

A reminder when you are reading ANYTHING online but especially unknown sources without fact checking....

This was written by AI in 5 seconds, I haven't fact checked it:

**Sam Hoskins: The Heartbeat of Northampton Town's Success**

In the world of football, where headlines are often dominated by superstar names and multi-million-pound transfers, the story of Sam Hoskins offers a refreshing reminder of the sport's essence: dedication, perseverance, and an unyielding passion for the game. Hoskins, a forward for Northampton Town, has become a beloved figure at Sixfields Stadium, embodying the spirit and resilience of the club.

Since joining Northampton Town in 2015, Sam Hoskins has been a consistent performer, his versatility and work ethic making him indispensable. His journey with the Cobblers has been marked by moments of brilliance and unwavering commitment, qualities that have endeared him to fans and teammates alike. Whether playing as a winger or a forward, Hoskins' adaptability on the field is a testament to his footballing intelligence and technical skills.

Hoskins' impact on the pitch is undeniable. With a keen eye for goal and the ability to deliver crucial assists, he has played a pivotal role in Northampton Town's campaigns over the years. His knack for finding the back of the net has often lifted the team's spirits, turning the tide in challenging matches. More than just a goal-scorer, Hoskins' relentless pressing and defensive contributions epitomize the modern forward's role, making him a standout player in League Two.

Off the pitch, Sam Hoskins' influence is equally significant. Known for his humility and approachability, he has forged a strong bond with the Northampton faithful. His involvement in community initiatives and youth programs highlights his commitment to giving back, inspiring the next generation of footballers in the region. Hoskins' leadership qualities, though often understated, have also been crucial in fostering a positive team environment, particularly during testing times.

One of the most memorable highlights of Hoskins' career at Northampton came during the 2019-2020 season when the Cobblers secured promotion to League One. His contributions throughout the season, coupled with standout performances in the play-offs, were instrumental in achieving this milestone. This success was a testament to his resilience and determination, characteristics that have defined his career.

In a sport where careers can often be transient, Sam Hoskins' enduring presence at Northampton Town is a testament to his loyalty and dedication. As he continues to don the Cobblers' jersey, his passion for the game and his club remains as fervent as ever. For Northampton Town supporters, Hoskins is more than just a player; he is the embodiment of their hopes, dreams, and unwavering support.

As the new season unfolds, fans at Sixfields Stadium eagerly anticipate more moments of magic from their star forward. With Sam Hoskins leading the charge, Northampton Town's future looks bright, filled with promise and the potential for even greater achievements. His journey serves as a reminder that in football, heart and soul often outweigh fame and fortune, and few exemplify this better than Sam Hoskins.

There’s no way of knowing what is right and what is wrong. The information and technology era (albeit brief) has gone. We are about to (terminator esq) witness the rise of the machines.
