Fair play for going, is he worth a start?

Crowd 1200+

Max Dyche - certainly a big lad and after he came on they (Walsall) had very few chances. Was not on for long perhaps 20mins if that but he played - solid is the word I would use! He likes to pass out from the back too. As for Revan he was a bit at sea 1st half but improved immeasurably 2nd half. Would pick Dyche before Revan  as the latter has only played one game so far!Another big lad and looks quite promising. In the latter stages of the game we brought on a raft of players and we looked all the better for it. Finishing was poor but Ete kept on plugging away with glimpses of skill. Abracadbra was totally ineffective ... again. Benny in first attack fell over................which drew a mixture of applause and laughter. He actually made a difference too. Immeasurably more effective than Abracadbra! Full backs played OK and Kioki was better but one or two wayward passes tho. Useful point in the end, certainly deserved the point and kept at it all game. Connolly was quick and his raids down the right were effective but his final pass was not up to much. He took his penalties well - touch of class about them with minimum steps to slot home. Their goal was a bit of a mix up and Maxted in my opinion should have kept it out. In spite of the weather it was somehow quite enjoyable to watch.

Great review Evers. I was half blaming Horsfall and half Maxted for their goal but we probably need to give Walsall credit as well. I thought the referee was first class.
