Sort of tough though here, because with Delta the vaccine is only like 40% effective at stopping you getting infected, it's just very good at stopping that develop into serious complications or death. If they were all vaccinated, it wouldn't stop postponements from players catching it.
If I think about the number of players who fell into the Herbalife pyramid scheme half a decade ago, I'm not 100% surprised that misinformation is making its way through those circles. Fortunately we are in a society as a whole where the vast majority of people are willing to listen to experts rather than twitter scam artists.

Gareth Southgate is now questioning if he should speak out again after receiving threats, no doubt online. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/58851876I'm now struggling to work it out, dear Gareth has been telling us all year long that we should look into ourselves and fight this terrible racism that is rife in football and to make gestures to show us how racist we all are. A truly noble cause and of course it must be supported. Deaths from racism in 2020 - Nothing confirmed. Deaths from Covid in 2020 - 138,000 Man up Southgate and sort out your priorities.

So, allegedly no deaths due to racism which is highly unlikely, but if so, racism's ok then.

Unfortunately these players are listened to and carry some influence with the young and why they are forced to choose some noble cause to deflect the obscenity of their income, they and many others in the media obviously jumped on the racism truck over covid as it was trendy with all that blm nonsense at the time and not much else going on. A cursory search brings up no UK death directly attributed to racism only attacks and suspicion however like you, I'm sure there sadly are a few. My point is if players do really want the best for their "supporters" (bull shit)and want to make a difference to peoples lives they should be promoting vaccinations in a positive light not shirking away from the subject like pu ssies. I'm sorry if you have been affected by racism in your daily life, maybe you could share the experience so we can all "educate" ourselves.

Didn’t say you did. It’s just that whenever anyone speaks out about racism, you seem to be straight on the case suggesting that they should be concentrating on other things. Not personally been affected by racism but doesn’t mean I shouldn’t be concerned by it. Yes we should all educate ourselves, plenty of people have suffered or even been killed due to racist and bigoted attitudes.

No Bakewell Tart then, sorry! I will buy you a cup of tea though next time I see you, so you can watch me eat mine. Cant get them here! Yes so they bloody well should, having lived in the US and now SE Asia, where low level racism is a normal day to day occurrence the UK has way more issues to be concentrating on. Most "waycism" accusers are usually banner waving or on Twitter. I am racist myself so I feel I can speak on the subject, I have made decisions about people in the past based on their colour, religion or ethnicity and why I married a brown lady.

I know you live in Thailand and your wife is Thai, I just don't understand why people speaking out about racism bothers you so much. "Low level" racism is also a day to day occurrence in the UK and would suggest that it is much more widespread than publicised. It happens in my workplace and expect it's very similar in many other workplaces. "I'm not racist but".......

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58972242Stats updated. Sixty eight percent of all Premier League players have now had both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, the league has announced. The Premier League also confirmed that 81% of players have had at least one jab. In the English Football League, the BBC understands that as of September 49% of players were fully vaccinated - up from 18% the previous month. Couldn't find the national average for double jabbed but looks about 65% for a typical footballers age group.

I was reading a discussion last night and someone said that one of our players had a reaction to the vaccine. I have seen nothing to prove this or any mention of it. Just seemed werid for someone to pick out our club. Has anyone heard anything ?

Flores suffers from Asthma. The vaccine (his second jab) triggered (or so it is said) a reaction.

"Of nearly 7,400 people admitted to hospital in England in recent weeks, about 2,500 had yet to receive a single dose and a further 400 had been given only their first".
A stat that speaks for itself.

Hardly an argument against the anti vaxers though is it? All that tells me is that more people have been hospitalised who have been double jabbed than those that haven't. Worrying.

Yes, but the % of people admitted who have not been jabbed is a lot higher than the actual % of the population who have not been jabbed.

To be fair though Manny you said in July there would be a lockdown by Sept at the latest, so you're probably not worth listening to anyway. That notion, although slightly later than I predicted, doesn’t seem so wrong now does it 😎
