A letter signed by 208 'mainly' Jewish people, if they are all as truthful and honest as Adolf Netanyahu that letter should go straight in the bin!

Mostly Bebe and his cronies? I'm thinking about the recent attack on the ambulance and the like.

I think it's pretty clear that when it comes to telling lies, the IDF is in a class of it's own.

IDF, Hamas, Russia, Iran, North Korea, China, Trumpys US, and Starmers UK. None of them know the concept of the word "truth". Never ever trust a politician.

So you put the lies of a terrorist organisation before that of a democratic sovereign nation?

Is that the same nation that has for decades ignored international law and illegally occupied Palestinian land? I've no time for Hamas but I'd believe aid workers and MSF's account of what is happening in Gaza before I believed the IDF.

I'm not one of Manny's BBC bashing band, but I did watch a truly bizarre interview on BBC Breakfast while eating my breakfast this morning. They had Kemi Bedenoch on as a guest. Now, she's not the most engaging or charismatic of politicians. I didn't agree with a lot of what she said and half of the rest of it was bluster and deflection, but then the interview took an odd turn.
It emerged that she hadn't watched Adolescence on Netflix, nor did she plan on doing so. She acknowledged she was pleased that it had people talking about important issues, but said she was already aware of the issues it raised and preferred to be out meeting people in the real world that had been affected by those issues rather than watch a fictional programme about them.
That to me seemed reasonable enough, but then the rest of the interview was spent grilling her about why she hadn't watched it, why she didn't plan to watch it and if she had seriously compared it to Casualty (she'd made a throwaway comment about not needing to watch Casualty to know there are problems in the NHS).
It was so odd! They'd got the leader of the opposition there and they were more interested in why she hadn't watched a popular TV show than in what she thought of Donny Dipsh1t's economic policy!

What about Islamic Jihad or ISIS? Do you have time for them? They are all in GAZA.

…..but I thought the BBC were a loathsome organisation and strangers from the truth - I’m not sure you can pick and choose what bits of reporting are the truth when it simply suits your argument - I hate to break it to you but that’s really not critical thinking - as I’ve said before truth is the first victim in any conflict. Irrespective of the truth on this one the reality on the other terrorist organisations you mention are a significant minority in Gaza and other than a fervent anti-Israel sentiment have very different ideological objectives - if the BBC article is correct probably more of a case of the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Possibly - you said these groups were present in Gaza (correct if the BBC are to be believed) - I said “barely” and explained the different ideology to avoid simplistic generalisation (again correct). However, you having to use the BBC to confirm your point did make me smile. At the end of the day it’s really not about who is right or wrong behind the comfort of our keyboards- it’s about trying to get a more complete understanding of situations before retorting to trite slogans - you often bemoan how society has progressed (and I agree with you on quite a few of those points) but if you really believe in what you say surely condemnation or support of anything via simple slogans is not the actions of a critical thinker

Simple slogans are used to be able to communicate a view to the masses, THE on here, I feel I need to reset your thoughts on this delicate subject, and I agree it’s never black and white, the skill is interpreting the information from all sources then using critical thinking to come to a verified conclusion and understanding. I have followed this process and have to to a conclusion. Fcuk Hamas Victory to Israel. ( Hamas is an Iranian backed proxy, not the Palestinian people)
