2 former Cobblers in the Carlisle team.
Brennan Dickenson who we had on loan from Brighton in 2014, played 13 games.
Rod McDonald played 30 games 2015-2017, as Carlisle have conceded more goals than most in div.2 perhaps the concrete needs repointing.

Always liked concrete Rod, sounds like Carlisle are in deep shît, 0-1 Cumbrians………89th min winner after we have 43 shots 9 on target, 27 corners and 74% possession.

Judging by their new managers comments they will probably be ultra defensive and quite happy while the score is 0-0. He appears to be happy with a point and to try to snatch a winner from a set piece. We could do with an early goal so they have to be more adventurous otherwise it may turn into a frustrating game.

i don’t think it’s a given Connolly will come in for Sam .
Connolly is an out and out wide player and Hoskins has been playing inside more recently .
I wonder if Pollock might play or even Rose .
They will be defensive and so we need someone to break the lines .

I personally doubt it will be Pollock; for me probably Rose or Connolly. Rose can operate quite well in upper midfield and might even score!

Is Pollock still about?

Every time I look at my social media he appears to be out on the rip with his other half in London.

Surely Rose can replace 'Super Sam' no problem? They look virtually identical, Etete wouldn't know the difference from a distance, and frankly, probably doesn't care who provides the assist...
and I'm quite confident that Rose is perfectly capable of skying a few shots over and wide of the post!

Super Sam has scored 3 in the last 4 games so Rose would need to get some shots on target as well.

Connolly is a straight line merchant , i don’t think that will help Etete personally

Ah yes, I remember now. Thanks WSO.

I thought that our astute revered ex Manager Keith Curle signed Rose in 2020?

Everbright, we are talking about a different Danny Rose. We signed him from Oxford in 2016 on a short term contract to the end of the season. When the season ended he left to join Portsmouth and I believe it was when he played for them JJO'T inflicted a long term injury on him as they contested a dropped ball by the referee.
Sadly we never signed the Danny Rose from Tottenham.

Madly I’ve just been to visit a family member in Cleethorpes today, used their downstairs loo and there was Danny Rose Grimsbys player for October on their calender on the wall ( not in the toilet in person)

The in law is a big Grimsby fan.

As neighbours go my biggest claim to fame was living 6 doors from Brian Lomax for 30 years (with a couple of periods of absence on my part in that time), but even closer than the Lomax's x residence lives a rabid Grimsby fan.
We can be a strange bunch in this borderline village.

Nero never burnt the place but whores could fire your belly. The railway brought a brighter place till Curle's team turned to jelly.

No, not at all! To me there is only one Danny Rose! Expect big commotion in West Stand near Row N  about  seats 125 to 162.

So how many Danny Rose are there?
