For me personally I find most topics tend to be dominated by the same individuals and the same arguments tend to occur, or they descent greatly off topic, which for me is of no interest.

Don't know about others but that's the reason I tend not to post often.

Quite like reading your posts but you have posted a not inconsideable 1000+ messages.

Thanks, and very true on the messages. But thats over a 9 year period, I guess I would like to have more discussion particularly on our players / matches or on topics relevant to the club. I just dont have any desire to have personal slanging matches or veer too far off topic.

I meant to post this a few days back but today will do.

If I want a decent preview of a match and a detailed analysis of what went wrong/right after the game and what to do about it this is the place for me not Radio Northampton or the Chronicle.

It’s probably because this format is very old hat. I’d guess the average age of those using it is 40+.
It’s all about Insta, Twitter, Snap chat and probably platforms most of us have never heard of. Even FB has been sliding out of fashion for some time now. ‘People’ just want to take an opposing view or pamper their egos.
They probably aren’t talking much about the Cobblers elsewhere though.
We’ll soon be downloading our thoughts with an algorithm doing the leg work. We’ll upload anything we’re interested in. It won’t be far away.

There’s probably more general apathy around football than ever before.

Rose and Super Sam look virtually identical.

BAS always seems to fall down.

Kabamba - great for a song from the (not so) cheap seats...but can't seem to do what he should - score.

Mitchell almost single handedly got us relegated last season.

Now, onto the East Stand... Wink

Apathy as in watching a game and getting on with your life. I can remember when a result could ruin the week for a sizeable number of fans. Not sure that’s the case anymore.
Depends when you stick a marker in the ground but our attendances have certainly increased since the 70’s but not sure we’d see 30-40k going to Wembley anymore.
I don’t think attendance is a direct correlation to apathy, certainly not when talking about chat forums anyway.

I thought you widened it to general apathy in football.
