Without the fact that those watching at home invariably have a better view of what is actually going on most of the time.
We should be revelling in 3 big away points  Smiley
You can remove doubt altogether by simply listening to the game on a radio.
I did and we didn't put a foot wrong all evening.

Got back home from Exeter about half 1 in the morning. Brilliant win. I personally think we should of been playing football on the deck more.  but on the other hand, we dug in well and defended brilliantly, still think we need at least 3- 4 players in the window to really kick on this season. UTC

To win at their ground by not playing brilliantly is promotion form 👌

Take it you used Private Plane to get home before the coach which arrived back at Sixfields at approx 1.30am - that is assuming you live in Letchworth or if not a plane, a supercharged 650HP BMW M6 Cool

Looks if you have been on the sugar too, that's two humorous quips within 2 hours.  I too prefer the radio when stuck at home.
I also like stating too's and two's.

Watched it and could only get home commentary. Apparently we have Charlie Rose and Benny Beal playing for us. Big win but difficult 2nd half.

Trust Coach Driver did well then. May I ask which routes you took from Exeter to Letchworth. Its a total of 400miles and generally a minimum of 4hrs each way(RAC). Still a good effort!

It's 400 miles there and back, not one way. It's 201 one way. Left at 10pm, back at 1:30am. Route taken: A30, A303, M3, M25, A414, A1m. Next question?

It was by car BTW.

Two questions;
1. You state it is 201 miles one way. What about the other way?
2. Do you have proof that you indeed took that route?

Well done, incredible effort on a 4 hour journey generally in poor weather conditions. No break for you obviously Shocked

150 miles each way, 4 hours there and 3.5 hours back, all along the coast route (aside from part of the M27 being shut) then up the A3, home by 0130hrs. Early one.  Wink

Why on earth do you always feel the need to start arguments with everyone?  It was, as I said, a huge win. I really enjoyed the game. We did  exceptionally well overall.

That doesn't mean we weren't poor in the second half, because for a lot of it we were. We weren't helped by the conditions, McWilliams going off, Flores coming on and Exeter stepping up a gear. We improved as the half wore on, but that was largely a result of us managing the game professionally rather than us actually playing good football. I'm not dismissing the importance of being able to shut games down, on the contrary it's vital, but we stopped Exeter playing rather than playing "well" ourselves. Let's just say that those last 25 minutes or so weren't for the purist. They were, however, highly effective and great to watch as a Cobblers fan.

Certainly not looking for an argument based on our display last night. Why would I! In my opinion your comments were surprising considering you were apparently there!  Are these comments justifiable based on the win:

" and then go ahead from a massive deflection on a dreadful strike. Second half we were spanked. All over the shop, could and should have been behind then go back in front with a flukey strike out of nowhere" Whilst you are fully entitled to your opinion ; to me they seemed at odds with comments from others.
