Do we really believe that a 3 hour meeting  produced monosyllabic answers?
Either:
Closed questions were posed  which will produce answers as such.
"Do you like beer"? .... Closed.... Yes or no.
" Which beer did you like and why"?..... Open question.

Or....
The questions had been answered previously and the chairman got frustrated that the Trust were asking again.

Or....
Longer answers were given... In the three hour meeting and the answers were quoted as monosyllabic for dramatic effect to keep the anti cobblers owners drive going.....

Believe it or not the 3 hour meeting was not just a question and answer session, there was a lot of talk about all things cobblers, however the specific answers to the questions were pretty much as said!
There are things said during the meeting that are not mentioned too…..and worth pointing out that the Club has put no statement whatsoever out about the contents, tone or output from the meeting…..

The Trust presence there did not take minutes of the meeting, however the club, or rather more specifically Gareth recorded the whole thing…..Tom was there too.

Suggest that if anyone wants to know further details then they contact either the club directly, or their fans representative, rather than try and pick holes and find fault in the only statement released which provides any feedback on the fact that a meeting even took place.

The reason for all this Peter is that quite a number of supporters who use this forum say they wanted proof that KT and DB retained the monies from the Chinese deal.
Therefore I’m quite surprised by the number of people voting no, the question was for their clarification.
Manwork. I don't believe KT and DB kept the money, certainly not the amount being mentioned. They may well have made some 'profit' from it but with all the legal work etc it wouldnt have been a lot and probably less than the effort put it.
I also don't think its as simple as the question was written. The proof should come from those making the claims, otherwise its potentially dangerous conjecture.
This discussion can and will go round and round but until someone puts something substantive to them (and I dont believe a few questions in a statement is substantive) then there will never be answers to satisfy those that believe wrong doing.
I'm also not clear if those who do believe they pocketed millions believe the deal was illegal, immoral or just the fact they 'made' a similar amount of money to the debt, which has also been explained by some on here.

If you feel so passionately, and I believe you do, then I would encourage you to still ask the question. Tom is in role for individuals to contact, not collectives.

Individuals are far easier to ignore or dismiss as trouble makers, a group of supporters or even an elected body or person is a far more effective way of communicating.
I need to clear something up as well, I heard a few times the words “wrong doing “ and “illegal” I don’t believe for one minute that anything like this occurred.

19 people want the question asked so you have your group. I don't believe Tom will ignore or dismiss anyone regardless of who they are or what the question is. At least I would hope not.
