The problem that I see is that I just don’t understand our game plan and tactics. Are we aiming to play the long ball?

Not much wrong with our 'tactics' IMO - they've got us to second in the league
and we created more than enough chances to win the game today. We took
a while to get going today, but dominated created and won 17 corners.
We are not a 'long ball' team by any means - we're a team that can mix it up and play it through
the lines, spread it out wide using overlapping full backs, or go direct into the
channels when necessary. The brand of football is superior to anything dished up
by one-note long-ball merchants like Curle and Hoofroyd.
We've got a strong 4-2-3-1 system in place. With Etete's departure, however, it's crystal clear to everyone that we need a replacement for the lone frontman in the system - someone who can hold the ball up, run the channels and stick the ball in the onion bag every now and again.
