I think FG are just happy the season is ending now and is not a couple of games  longer as I doubt they would have gone up. If you can’t beat Harrogate at home they have zero chance in the last game.

if you are using Harrogate as the benchmark then Mansfield also lost to them at home - by the same score.

As someone has already mentioned on Quest last night the three 'wise men' predicted 'Port Vale', 'Mansfield' and 'Bristol Rovers' for the last automatic place, however I think we have just as good a chance as any of them.

I think Port Vale will struggle to beat Exeter on the last day, Mansfield will struggle to beat Salford tomorrow and maybe Forest Green will get their arses back in gear and beat them next Saturday.

The team that worries me however is Bristol Rovers who play Sc***horpe at home. Yesterday Sc***horpe fielded 7 kids against Hartlepool and were lucky to get a point from the team everyone is beating at the moment. If they field a much weakened team (and yes I know they finished bottom but most of their games haven't been high scoring matches) against Bristol Rovers I can see them conceding 6 and the Cobblers may well need to beat Barrow by several goals to be sure of finishing above them. Mind you if they lose it's all irrelevant anyway.

Come on lads we can do this.

By the way blotting out the unt from Sc/thorpe is pathetic, if I lived there I would be 'offended' and may have to complain. I do realise it's out of the hands of the administrators of this board.

In a twist of fate I showed the kids that advert a couple of months ago. “He’s eating everything in his path” has become a bit of a catchphrase in our gaff.

Ive been curious myself ever since a kid, maybe somebody going to Barrow could take a bite and confirm just how chewy the bus station really is?

On a separate note, does anyone know how much roughly the club would make from a successful play off and Wembley win? Guestimate?

Snowflake! That's the problem with grumpy old men nowadays, always finding something to be 'offended' by.

And I do blame the admistrators of this board - ùnts, the lot of them.

Must admit I don't understand why the naughty words have to be censored as we all know there are ways round it but is it the administrators or SMFServer.com, the hosts?  Fűcking stupid cųnts!!!!!

It's not grumpy old men that are the problem. It's the LBGTQUNSUREIFI'MAFÚCKINGTEAPOT brigade that get offended at everything.

Has anyone mentioned that both the Port Vale and Mansfield games are on Sky Sports Football tomorrow afternoon ? The first one at 12.30. Hopefully Salford and Newport County get a lift from that.

Good Afternoon
I’ve been here all along, witnessing all your anxieties and worries. In a strange kind of way relieved that it’s all bypassing me this end of season. Two recent Wembley play off defeats knocks the stuffing out of you!
It was a big disappointment how we just fizzled out like a cheap firework. No spark and definitely no oohs and aars.
The clamour from many is to play some of our academy lads to see what they have in the mens world, whether Rowberry will risk that no one knows at present. More likely that will happen in our final game which has no bearing at all and keep it professional for this one where a lot is at stake for other teams.
On balance I enjoy Cobblers being in the same division as Newport as from a purely selfish viewpoint it’s a nice couple of games to “enjoy” but on a wider level, I’ll be happy to see you go up, for My Mum and for the town.

Cheers Phil, have an amazing performance tonight.

Just listened to an interview with Matt Taylor, Exeter are going full tilt for the title now, no let up and for one I hope they achieve it. Cant See Vale getting more than a point at St.James Park.

If Salford draw or win today we are going up.

Simple as that in my eyes.

I listened to that, and he was complimentary about us and our players, not moaning about how we play like a rugby side, or the pitch not being watered, etc.. for that I hope that they win the title. And I do not like veggie burgers.

With Mansfield and Port Vale games today both being on Sky it seems strange that our game against Exeter wasn't chosen as it was the stand out game from the set of fixtures. However, I suppose they have to put Salford on at every opportunity and it will probably be the same if Wrexham get back in Div.2 due to the Hollywood connection.

I've got quite a dislike of Forest Green and quite like Exeter, so I'd love the Grecians to pip them at the post!
