Shame about the Exeter result, but two defeats out of the three games ain't' bad. Games have caught up or ahead of us now. Tranmere are having a wobble. Is this the start of Sutton's wobble? Have we already had ours? Interesting times ahead.

Generally would have taken that before the game. That sort of win will give Exeter a lot of confidence which is a shame . Its very tight at the top if you look at games in hand too. Both ourselves and Exeter can go above Tranmere if we win our games in hand. Mansfield can go above us if they win their game by more than 3 goals.
Does seem to be a small gap appearing after 6th (if you play in games in hand and Newport have played 1 more). 5 teams for 2 places, although still 16 games left so a lot can happen. Going to be tight!!

Very tight - with our January wobbly hopefully over a top 7 spot looks reasonably secure but 2nd and 3rd could well go to the last game.

Not sure there’s anything secure about our current top 7 spot, teams fly up the table like Mansfield while others will drop like stones. It’s still all up for grabs.

Late, late equaliser at Tranmere. Looking promising again. We could have had this nailed by now but like doing things the hard way.

Good results again for us today with the best being our own 3-0 win. We're in the driving seat and can maximise that position in the coming weeks.

Not too much ground lost today as all the top three lost, however Swindon were the only losers in the next eight teams, so its all bunched up at the top. Just four points between 2nd and 8th.
Midweek games see us host Walsall and Newport at home to Forest Green. There is a Friday night game to come too...Mansfield v Exeter.

Out of interest, when was the last time you were entertained watching us play?
Thinking back to the Wilder era, it seems like we are on a parallel universe now.

Wilders promotion season was by far the best I witnessed. I preferred it to the Carr season. What we are watching at the moment is pretty poor..

It seems what we’ve watched ever since has been poor. Currently we seem to lack identity. No real way of playing other than hit and hope, cross your fingers for corners and long throws.

You are in great form today that must be the 5 or 6th message from you 'emitting' disparaging remarks against NTFC. Give it a rest until the next game

There was a brief period under Dean Austin where I was, somewhat surprisingly, entertained watching the football we produced. Since then I can't recall a single game that I've felt the same, so much so that I tend to leave most games early nowadays out of boredom.
Playing that kind of football under Dean ended in quite a few losses with an el finito at Mansfield! By and large the supporters couldn't stand the losses. Too work fancy dan football needs the players capable of sustaining it but as always a few wins help.

I fear if we don't get top 3 we wont be going up. I don't have confidence we would beat any of the other teams over 2 legs with our goal scoring inability. This week could be pivotal in that, but can probably repeat that sentence most weeks from now
