Barrow took 73 to Newport yesterday so expect it could be less than that for a Tuesday night game, mind you it is a long way.

Cor blimey. There are less posts on this thread than there are on a game we haven’t even played yet.

Always goes quiet when we win

Even so. Still very few people extolling our virtues, despite condemning any slightly negative/realistic opinions. Hopefully we’re back on track after the covid intervention, so where are all the positive, anti
slightly negative poster bearers? Credit where credit’s due, come on.

Very pleased to get back to winning ways in tricky conditions. The two newbies who came off the bench looked calm and definitely added to the team, promising signs! Kanu looked rusty, but at least was pacey and had a few tricks up his sleeve. Looking at our options up around the top of the pitch we have far more pace and energy following the additions which makes me feel much more positive. The output of the whole team was fantastic, real noticeable the effort that everyone put it trying to press at times.

Still need to improve in possession, too many times instead of just keeping the ball we just go far too long over the top. But another 3 points and hopefully that progression will continue through the second half of the season. A CM coming in tomorrow would be fantastic, curious to see what happens.

Also, although he didnt have much to do yesterday, Roberts really has been fantastic this season. Is such a calming presence, has made no large errors that I can recall. Its crazy how much better he is then what we have had in the last few years, hope he gets a new deal ASAP.

Kanu was rather like an over excited puppy too eager to please. Perhaps he will be more measured on Tuesday night.

Is there a more hard working player than Sam Hoskins? The goal was from a corner won by Sammy chasing down a seemingly impossible cause. I can forgive the shanks and that completely missed overhead kick when he produces stuff like that.

Great post Lord, couldn’t agree more about Roberts, actually made a couple of great goal stopping saves.

Good hard fought win, probably should have been more. Eppiah looked lively, hopefully he's the striker we've been missing.
Pathetic away following, which seems depressingly normal for league 2. How many games is that now we've had an empty South stand?  Barrow will probably bring even less.
I agree, but we desperately need to build it at least twice the size and put loads more catering in there!
Good win in the conditions agree with the comments above about new players, do this Kanu will get better over the next couple of games, but very interested to see what today brings.
