3 part programme starts tonight on Sky Documentaries, this is the guy who in 2002 wanted to buy 60% share of The Cobblers. Although he had no qualifications in law he claimed to have represented some of the most disreputable people including Saddam Hussein (as part of his defence team), Tariq Aziz, Ali Hassan Al Majid (Chemical Ali), Jeremy Bamber, Charles Bronson and Ian Brady. He also was said to have links with Robert Mugabe and Osama Bin Laden. In 2013 he was charged with 25 offences including deception, fraud and money laundering and received a 14 year sentence. Di Stefano and his mother followed his father over from Italy when he was 6 and lived in Irchester. He was also linked with other football clubs including Norwich and Dundee Utd.

He moved from Italy to Irchester as a 6 year old.
I remember seeing him turn up in our Wellingborough terraced street in his Rolls Royce, an everyday sight!!!

I still think the meeting at Sixfields with him and the Reverend was one of the best I have ever attended. It was like a scene out of One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest. It appealed totally to my sense of humour. The only thing that was missing was The Joker and a suitcase full of money…. Loved it.

I finished watching this earlier, it was really good. He comes over like a fùckwitted version of Keyser Soze.

Keyser Soze is number 48 in the list of movie baddies and coincidentally Di Stefano is the 48th crackpot to have been interested in buying NTFC.
