To be honest I don't like it very much, you can't see the numbers or names. For all those suggesting we wear it more, home or away, can I remind them that we play in the traditional Northamptonshire colour of CLARET !

Acknowledged and I am also an advocate of our Claret and White. I also questioned whether this was/is a true version of our 'first' kit, but I was only saying for it to be worn instead of the black kit, which frustrates me annually.

Although the numbers/names on the shirts need improving  i liked the shirt. As  already suggested keep it until the end of the season, then see about keeping it longer from there.

Agreed about the black kit, looks OK as a "fashion" but difficult to pick out the players especially in evening games

Well done to everyone at the club, agree it was a great occasion and managed very well.
Loved the additional touches such as the full names in the programme, on the big screen, social media etc. As well as the old fashioned stylee video's on twitter after the game.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere for the first 70 mins! Biggest attendance since Sheff Utd apparently, would be great to see more people back in the future, especially the next generation cobblers!!

Understand the negatives about the kit but personally love it. Should be promoted from 3rd kit to away kit next season for sure.

Agree with all of that apart from the kit, Claret and White is our colours, and judging by the fit of the kit on some of our “larger supporters “ best left alone.

Grin That’s very true. It didn’t really flatter some of the players. Let alone some of our more prosperous looking supporters.

Really enjoyed Saturday. The whole occasion was handled well, a pretty much full Sixfields and also liked the extra touches like the players full names etc.  The program was well worth a fiver and to top it off it was a decent game and we went away with three points in the back pocket.

If you could take 125 years of The Cobblers and squeeze it into 90 minutes, then Saturday was it.... 3-0 up and cruising with 15 minutes to go and hanging on a bit at the end. Perfect.

Claret and white home kit, blue and brown away kit. Something else third kit
We’ve had plenty of non claret or white away kits over the years, black, yellow, pink, green etc

Anyone know, if next year's third/away shirt will be exactly the same as the one used on Saturday? Or will it have a proper badge, and not have the names printed all over it?
As the names put me off purchasing it.

No, instead of having 500 virtue signallers sewn into it, next season's will have the intricately woven names of the tight gits who demanded a refund!  Wink
