Toney, Marquis, Collins, Morton, Etete...... we can unearth them BUT we can not keep them!
The priority is creative midfielders first.
4 of those players were loans so we didn't exactly unearth them ourselves

Bristol Rovers boss Joey Barton brands Cobblers 'a glorified rugby team' "Would I pay to come and watch Northampton? No, I wouldn't. They are awful to watch"
Fair play to him. Has clearly done his homework.

As we are now classified as a rugby team perhaps we will be able to field 15 players. Anybody know any good hookers?.

Thks Forever need a bit more stats! For instance how many minutes has he played!
The final version; He started in three games (Leamington, Alfreton, Kettering) and completed 90 minutes + in each (though he was taken off in the 90th minute in one) - Total - 270 minutes + extra time. He was brought on against Guisley (for 13 minutes) and Gateshead (last Saturday for 76 minutes). Total minutes = 359 minutes +extra time. He was involved in all the games Boston played whilst he was there. Boston's Fan's Forum offered little insight as to his form.

Thanks Forever decent of you too! To me it sounds if he has found his level; pity that the Boston Forum had no positive comment on his form. Had plenty of game time tho'.

I‘m not sure there is a significant take-away on those stats albeit seems reasonable and bizarrely a better goals to games ratio than any of our current team can match. Of course the coaching staff see him more than any of us but in the 15 odd games he played for the first team he didn’t look weak on the physical side, didn’t give the ball away and heaven forbid what we desperately need now was a bit of creativity from midfield (and without the need to get booked every other game).

If he plays and scores a winner he is an instant hero! As Brady appears to be an astute Manager and his judgement is paramount; JB is cautious of using SP even from the Bench and that does not inspire confidence. I too have seen him play but never seemed to make any impression. Again I go by the Managers decision as he knows Pollock all too well.

I think if we are pinning our hopes on Pollock then we are in cloud cuckoo land.

i doubt pollock will play even if he comes back . He is not a high energy player and the whole team ethic is based on that . We did miss out on a player in the window though who would have fitted the role . Pulled late on . I think we need to rethink the way we play with Appere on his own . He is not good enough to play that role . We can’t play 3 at the back now either because Tyler is injured . Hoskins may have to play right back as well .! Dooooomed

I know he won't but he could always play Harriman in a 3

This x10.
We were too nice and stand-offish yesterday. Was clear after 15 mins how the game would progress. The ref not getting cards out or being stronger was a green-light for Rovers to carry-on for the full 90.
(well I say 90, would be lucky if the ball was actually even in play for 30)
Spot on post Corno

Sorry, have to take issue with this, not spot on at all! You respond to a post from WSOAP, who says; There is no point in complaining about opposing teams s***housery tactics You absolutely agree, so much so, you post; X10... ...Then go on to do exactly that - whine and complain about Bristol Rovers tactics! Bizarre!

This league is so tight that last week these wallies were going crazy because they'd gone level with us in 3rd and today they've a 95th minute Colchester goal to thank for being as high as 6th

In an ideal world, we will go up automatically. But as a highly desirable second, I would love to beat them at Wembley in the play offs..
