I've said it before but this time I mean it, I am NEVER going to Mansfield again !! I've watched the Cobblers at well over 100 grounds but I can safely say that, despite numerous visits, I've never enjoyed a match at Mansfield. I've gone on the coach, the train and driven there and every time I think "Why did I bother", it doesn't help that that the place is a really dump and the people are just what you would expect from Black Leg Scabs. You go on the coach and you still need a police escort out, it's like back in the 70's, you go on the train and there are usually a gang of teenagers waiting to cause trouble at the station whilst the local plod stand and watch and the train back to Nottingham reminds you how Sardines must feel. We seem to save some of our worse performances for Mansfield and no one will EVER forget the "Crossley match". So that's me done with Mansfield, even if we get them in the play offs, I won't be there

Never a problem on Jim's coach but can understand your association with Mansfield FC as a whole. Have to say that your outburst is profoundly based on the disappointing display and narrow 1-0 loss. We still have an excellent defense in this division and it will be them if anybody who will haul us over the line. Need to keep your hat on and support them to the end!
As an aside Jim has suffered a minor heart attack and is now in hospital. His wife was on the coach to gather signatures for a get well card.
I like Jim an uncomplaining supporter who goes to all games (H&A) never publicly criticizes the team come what may.
Good luck Jimbo and hope you get better soon.

Can't argue that, it is a horrible little town. I can see why they didn't bother having a train station there for so long

So that's me done with Mansfield, even if we get them in the play offs, I won't be there I was on a train heading to London Blackfriars last evening when vast numbers of Milwall supporters got on at Luton, delayed the train, needed escorting by police who got on the train with them and one fan in my (front) coach had to be escorted off at Harpenden. They thought Luton was like Mansfield. The train was stuffed like sardines in a tin too. Thank God Labour reversed all those mine closures!

Totally agree Roger, could have easilly been involved in a skirmish yesterday as the majority of mansfield fans looked daggers at us, was attacked a few years ago whilst with my 7 yr old, was verbally abused when i drove up with hamster several years ago . Horrible people , up there with port vale and lincoln. The only time ive seen us play well was when we destroyed them in the playoffs only to be robbed by the worst refereeing decision ive ever witnessed

I must say Ian, great minds think alike !. I was thinking the others that I didn't enjoy visiting and Port Vale and Lincoln were in there for me as well ! I like Lincoln as a city but their fans are real arses.

Another bad result in Mansfield, it was inevitable. One plus point, we found a good pub The Brown Cow 10 mins walk away

Love going to Burslem. Vale fans were great with us this season. Lincoln isn't the Lincoln of old - fan-wise, and for its pubs, cathedral and general city to visit, can hardly be beaten!

I’m not entirely sure blokes ripping girls skirts off on stage it still allowed. Meanwhile gyrating your naked àrse straight into the camera lense is compulsory. I get confused?

Dear Mr Heaven, Rovers were the best team in the division since january so you deserve your promotion and good luck in L1. However, the manner of the final day absolutely stinks. Anyone can see that. Nothing will be done about it of course, and the Rvers and Scunny teams will froever now be the teams who completely disgraced the integrity of the EFL.
