Compare it to Sixfields, I can't remember that many great goals considering we play half our games there. I remember a few, Kirk had one, and also Thornton against Shrewsbury, but not many recently.
Ones that leap to mind:

Scott McGleish overhead kick vs Bristol Rovers
The Andy Kirk one you mention (also against Leyton Orient!!)
Thornton vs Shrewsbury and then Michael Jacobs scoring two crackers against Shrewsbury in Gary Johnson's first home game (we still lost 3-2)
Ricky Holmes volley against Notts County
Chris Lines volley vs Morecambe

But yes, I was thinking the same. Most of the screamers I remember have tended to be away from Sixfields!

2 games to go and it’s in our hands. Peaking at exactly the right time, I believe!

looking at Eppiah's goals again, just two great looking goals - why is it that left footers are so much more aesthetically pleasing than right footers...its the same in Cricket

Apparently he lives there so there’s another one on AirBnb. South West Corner of Sixfields for flats to find the mega South Stand expansion?

A few years back I went to view a property just around the corner from where I am currently. It had a huge rear garden and rear service road for the garages. Just over my budget though. A few years later, half of the garden was sold, and a block of flats now sits there. Somebody made a few bob.

Just to keep the thread clear of development, if someone is getting their shovel out inspired by a trip to the Orient, don't build flats in the corner of our ground build a hotel, long term gain over short lived profit.

Ha unfortunately not. I live closer to the river and a few years older than he is.

Bit late to this as VERY busy but brilliant football weekend.

Brilliant game Saturday.  Great day out with friends, too many beers and really good performance.  Funny how even at 4-1 up I was still nervous !!!

Don't think I've ever seen us lose at Orient but being completely honest I was worried about this one.  I had my doubts before the game and you could see at times that Orient were decent in spells so it's a really good result and performance.  Lovely goals and for a spell felt like everything was going to go in.

Then very hungover did two hours of coaching Sunday morning before going over to watch NTFC Womens team beat Pish in the County Cup.

Special mention for the womens team as Covid has played havok with their progress over the last few years so great to see them get a well deserved trophy.

As another left footer I can confirm it isn't always the case!
Perhaps us left hookers look more balletic when we get it right on rarity value alone?
I did used to bat right handed though, and when I briefly played golf I used right handed clubs (not very well).

My contractor was left handed. If you watched him writing, with that weird backward clenched hand style that they use, his hand looked deformed. And when he wanted something hand written and tidy, he would ask me to do it. Cheeky b@stard.  Grin

If you think about it Arabic script must have been developed by a left hooker, because writing it right handed is a mare especially if you are using proper ink.

Could this be more off topic than Orient away?
Me, my two brother, mum, dad and daughter are all left handed. Only to write mind. Both footed at football and right handed at every other sport. My teacher used to try and force me write right handed.

I'm right handed, right footed but when playing cricket (albeit very rarely) I bat left-handed. Beautiful straight drives and leg side whips.
