When was that? I've officiated a few FA games at Love Lane.
I think it must have been the 1988/89 season.

Somebody mentioned Scarborough, that was another I forgot. A couple of grounds that no spring chickens have seen the Cobblers play at, I went to Old Trafford and White Hart Lane in 65/66 plus a couple of others that we have played at since that year.

Rather interesting looking this all up this morning. Of the current 92, I've done 77 grounds, of which 69 were watching the Cobblers there. When I factor in National League, and National League North and South, I've been to 90. Haven't done Stockport, Wrexham or Solihull of those likely to come into the 92 next year - so will no doubt drop a couple down to 75 given I've been to Oldham and Sc***horpe. I can count 15 other grounds that I've been to that were league grounds when I went to them but they no longer exist or have a team associated with them - including the likes of Layer Road (one of only two league grounds where I've scored a goal on the pitch ) Gigg Lane (Bury), York Street (Boston) and even the National Hockey Stadium which has been replaced by the new Network Rail building in Milton Keynes. I've done a few other local non-league ones like Nuneaton, Rockingham Road, Steel Park, Dog and Duck, Sileby ect watching the Cobblers in pre-season friendlies, but I won't be counting them. I've also watched a few games abroad - Parc de Princes, San Siro, Nou Camp, Lille, Lens, Juventus, Sampdoria, Los Angeles FC. Have been to Ajax and the Bernabeu, but didn't see a game there. Then of course there's Wembley, where I saw my first ever Cobblers game end in victory in the 93rd minute! Not too bad for aged 30, and there's some of the 92 I still need to do that are reasonably close by that I should be able to do with relative ease - Birmingham, Wolves, West Brom ect.

Forgot about Bury and Boston in my list and won’t be going to random games just to do the 92. Cobblers games only for me.

Alright. Who's done the 92 just following their own team, not teams. Impossible I'd say with new grounds popping up right left and centre. Even if you count old grounds if you haven't been to the new one would be some feat. The only ones in with a chance would be either; Us, Oldham, Bradford, Carlisle, Orient. But still very difficult because you'd probably miss one or two due to you going up or down and them going the other way.

Does Rotherham's (Sheffield) Don Valley Stadium count?
As much as the Withdean.

Been to Millmoor, Don Valley and New York Stadium (Rotherham)
Goldstone Ground and Withdean (Brighton)
Twerton Park and Mem (Bristol Rovers)
Victoria Ground and Britannia Stadium (Stoke City)
Filbert Street and Walkers Stadium (Leicester City)
Leeds Road and McAlpine Stadium (Huddersfield Town)
Old Show Ground and Glanford Park (Sc***horpe)
Boothferry Park and KC Stadium (Hull City)
Roker Park and Stadium of Light (Sunderland)
Feethams and Reynolds Arena (Darlington)
Fellows Park and Bescot Stadium (Walsall)
Saltergate and whatever now called (Chesterfield)
Layer Road and Weston Homes Community (Col U) Loakes Park and Adams Park (Wycombe) Underhill and The Hive (Barnet)
all with the Cobblers. Actually, when started this, thought would be relatively short, but there are probably more I've forgotten about. Point kind of regarding 'doing the 92'. I'm not going to lose too much sleep having been to for example, Ayresome Park but not the Riverside, Goldstone and Withdean - but not the AmEx!

Yes went to Maidstone (Watling Street of Dartford I think) when Barry Richardson did his air kick which led to their goal.

Funny how your memory plays tricks with you. I checked it out after I posted but didn't manage to delete it in time. When did Wilkinson score his goal???
