in the fact that we are two games from promotion with a bottom 8 budget.
Is that really a fact!!?

No. Two wins from promotion might be a little more factual!

Without going too OTT there are some underlying issues with giving additional tickets to Exeter fans. Firstly, whenever that decision was made there must have been a very good chance this would be a very important game with something riding on it. The fans come out for the biggest games, especially the last at home of the season. Giving away teams extra tickets clearly gives them a boost from the stands, with an unquantifiable but slightly boosted advantage.
The only singular reason was to guarantee the cash, rather than the (I’d say very small) risk they may be left with a handful. As it is, it’s pretty obvious they would have sold out today or midweek at the latest. It’s not as though the owners have been here 5 minutes and could/should have recognised the potential of this game.
Fair play to Exeter for shifting them though and hopefully we haven’t got some extra noise rubbing our noses in. Should be a cracking atmosphere.
It does however give Beds the opportunity to copy and paste some stuff.
yes, this is the on game every 4 years that actually backs up his meanderings.

I was told it was a 14th/15th place budget last summer so as long as we've both been told the right info then yeah

Ok I’m here now. I’m really hoping auto promotion has taken a bit of the sting of the tail of Exeter. We’ve seen with recent games, those that really have nothing to play for, have come across as so in our games with them. However, I am as nervous as fcuk. I do not want to go to Wembley. We do not perform that well there, even in the one game we won.

I'm very nervous about my accumulator - Cobblers win, Mansfield and Port Vale lose (on Monday), Sutton and Bristol Rovers only draw and we are there with a game in hand

We weren’t allowed to go for the only time we’ve played well. Maybe we should be hoping for a new variant!

Can't echo the sentiments above enough...the highlight if any, Will Smith's repeat renditions of the Stone Roses' Resurrection at the Euston Tap!

Actually got the full hospitality treatment for the Bradford game thanks to a friend of a friend, VIP Parking, meet and greet, got to go downstairs, see the dressing rooms with all the kit put out etc, walked out of the tunnel onto the pitch, dinner in the Bobby Moore room and Club Wembley seating. Then the match took place!!

😂😂 I persuaded most of my family to attend the Bradford game.. Not one of them walked away understanding what I see in it…. I wondered myself on that particular occasion.

I took a load of my non-cobblers supporting mates, my then-new girlfriend (now wife) and her son/my future step-son, who loved football but had never seen a live match before and was hugely excited by it. To this day, I'm still not sure what was worse at half-time - my mates ripping the pìss and asking if they could have their money back or seeing the young lad on the brink of tears as all his excitement came crashing down in a wave of crushing disappointment. An utterly shìt day all round.
