I’ve not felt this low since my wife left me three years ago for a lad who has just turned 16 (I’ll let you do the maths).
We created zero chances in 180 minutes against a Mansfield size who, although ooze class, finished three places below us. They have the best player in cobblers history JJ O’Toole carving the Turkey in the heart of midfield whilst we have Danny Rose, a Mansfield cast off, leading the line not fit to lace JJ boots. Jumps about like a kangaroo trying to head it and couldn’t win on a win-every-time grabber at the fun fair let alone win a header!
Anyway that’s what you get when you have an Aussie manager no idea how to keep it on the deck. We have players diving at every chance - not one bad tackle from Mansfield today yet rolling around like a pig in the mud.
Thought the referee controlled the game well and we should have no complaints. We can blame pitch, referee, conditions, tactics, the mrs.. simply beaten by a class team. Barring our thoughtful hoofball it was a great advert for league 2 without any foul play. Embarrassing cobblers running on pitch should be ashamed.
Brady OUT and Curle IN if we want to win anything again.

i like him, spunky yet writes with an appealing panache for someone educated in Mansfield.

I’m reluctant to agree with any aspect of the imbeciles posts. However, I do have to concur with one point that is raised. The amount of time the ball spends aloft these days, has definitely left me wondering if we should consider engaging the services of air traffic control. It was one of the big bonuses of Brady’s appointment, that he did initially encourage us to play football.

Walking away on Wednesday, I said that we should have kept Harry Smith if we were intending to play like that...he'd be an ideal targetman alongside Louis..  |
