What an amazing performance and that backheeled goal was outstanding.

So Cobblers first eleven vs this team……what’s the result??

Interesting question that. The England ladies definitely play better football than we do but I think there's a massive gulf in power and physicality that means most professional men's teams would win in a no holds barred match.

  • United states women's team (best in the world) lost to 5-2 U15s Dallas FC
  • Brazil women's team lost 6-0 to Gremio U16s
  • Man Utd women lost 9-0 to Salford U16s

Whilst I have thoroughly enjoyed watching the women's EUROs and there has been some great football on display. You would lose your money if you bet on the Lionesses to beat the Cobblers mens team.

Strange way to celebrate the biggest moment in England Women's Football, raising a pointless hypothetical argument reminding everyone how inferior they are to the mens game.

I don't think they are inferior, it's just a different game.  I've thoroughly enjoyed watching the Euros and I'm looking forward to the final!

That Swedish keeper was something else.

There were moments during that match as I was watching that I was reminded of the Sc***horpe goalkeeper.

Oh, she had a dreadful game. At the other end of the pitch though, I thought Earps looks an excellent keeper.

Having seen her play a number of times for Chelsea, she used to be a very good keeper.

It's probably on a par with Cobblers lining up against a team from step seven. Cobblers should win comfortably, but difficult to predict the score.

Earps has an annoying habit, of every time that claims the ball, she falls to her knees and front, and clutches the ball underneath her body timewasting. I enjoyed the Sweden game, but their goalie had a stinker, and that back heel was never intended as a shot on goal.

She didn't do it when we were 1-0 down against Spain...Liam Roberts was quite good at it last season as well.  Wink
