The Refreshment Rooms I & II at Cleethorpes station are good...as is Willy's bar on the front (if still open)... severely downhill after that!

Willys is still there and the same.

There is a fewer newer bars in Cleethorpes which are decent all in the same sort of area - either in the square where steels is or on the main road, all let away fans in. There is a street called sea view street, which is further out a little bit but would be quieter with a couple of nicer bars if you want to get out the way.

Why?
Because we might find ourselves sitting next to each other. Nice and cosy.

I am sure you mean well! Under the circumstances would suggest you avoid me as I have absolutely no wish to be associated with you whatsoever. I also doubt you will travel away season 22/23. Hope have made myself reasonably clear.

"Oh, Oh, Grimsby, a thousand delights
Couldn't match the sweet sights
Of my Grimsby
Oh, England your fair
But there's none to compare
With my Grimsby"

From "Grimsby" on Elton John's Caribou. Lyrics by Bernie Taupin (1974)

Is the Skinners Arms still there?

A beautiful and heartfelt lyric taken as a whole.

The original album also includes The **** is Back and Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me.

Missing word = female dog.

You should watch skint Grimsby if you get chance, shows some of the people living in those areas.
Unfortunately parts of the town haven't improved, doesn't help for footy fans that the ground isn't in a good area either - there are some lovely areas though and the villages surrounding the town are lovely (and living down south know how much cheaper it is especially for housing)

If it's relevant (it is in the Arts) we have just passed the time for the Unions to call a strike for August 6th - so perhaps tickets will now go on sale.

Perhaps we will hear something tomorrow.....Grimsby only put match tickets on sale to their fans this afternoon for all their August fixtures, including the game against us.

The away "end" (Osman Stand) can be segregated, giving away fans a minimum allocation of 600 up to a maximum allocation of around 2000.

They are playing a juggling act having sold over 5700 season tickets this season when they potentially only have 7500 home seats in total. There is talk of minimum allocation to may visiting teams, so they can have more pay-on-the-day home fans in the Osmond stand.
