I find it contemptible that vastly well paid footballers fail to prepare properly which is what this now amounts to. Chelsea were affected (Kante was one) on their preseason tour last week and now Crystal Palace; https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/62203229

There could be any number of reasons why they choose not to be vaccinated, and I doubt that the size of their salary is one of them.

To be honest, if people choose not to be vaccinated that is their own choice, why should they?
It was obvious early on that the vaccine does not stop people spreading it because the case numbers continued going up with the number of vaccinated people, all that 'get a jab and save your family' was rubbish.
I'm vaccinated but I don't hold anything against those who are not and it made me angry when I heard people saying sports people and celebrities should get vaccinated to encourage people to follow suit, present people with accurate data and facts and they'll do what's right to them.
False facts and false data will cause more damage long term, imagine if we have another pandemic, half the population will be like 'hmm they lied last time' and the lack of trust will result in many lost lives.

The Vaccine doesn't prevent transmission, and I doubt an elite level footballer is at much risk to covid19 tbh.
It looks like Pfizer have more questions to answer than any footballer now that they have admitted to exploring intentionally mutating the virus to manufacture vaccine demmand.
