So, no tannoy working in at least the North Stand, not really a massive issue.

The bigger issue is the tickets were sold for my season ticket seat, and others too. How can this happen? Imagine if it had been a sellout.

Fair play to the club though for opening up the exit gates close to kickoff when the ticket scanning stopped working. Good quick thinking which might have prevented a bit of a crush. Was it just the middle of the west that was affected or the whole ground?

Yep, I was sat in someone's seat, bit of a farce. Also the qr codes are far too small on phones, probably what caused the massive queues.

What an utter debacle, that ticketing system is dogshît, QR codes can’t be read, what piššes me off is it was exactly the same in the pre season games so the club knew this was going to happen.
It will keep happening because the QR codes are too small FFS.

For those saying the QR codes are too small on your phone.... just zoom in, can make it the size of your screen if you want to as long as you have a smart phone.

To add to this, the north stand seat numbers are not even in order 😂 we’ve randomly got 101 for example among our seats numbered 42-48 in row D. They’ve had all summer to sort that sort of thing, there’s just no excuse for that.

At least it wasn't room 101

I couldn't hear nor understand anything that came out of the tannoy (north end of the west stand).
That is a definite fail on the H&S certificate.

Wow, this is after a win , how bad was the match day experience then ? What else apart from not being able to listen to the chit chat on the tannoy and the ticket problem went wrong then ?

Problems with dispensing Carlsberg at the North stand bar.

Oh wait, that's probably a blessing?  Smiley

I missed the first 15 minutes trying to sort out the seating issue with the person who had been sold a ticket for my season ticket seat, if that's not enough to put a dampener on the day I don't know what is.
Oh and £3 for a small bottle of water is extortionate, it's not Harrods. If it doesn't get better during the season I'm not renewing and will be following non league.

This is exactly why the club is going backwards.

That’s why we got 3% out of 15% in that stadium survey for condition of stadium, the owners clearly do not care FFS, the club knew there was problems with the ticketing system from the preseason games and did nothing about it.
Match day experience is shocking you have trouble buying tickets usually ending with a phone call to the ticket office to sort it out, you get to park in a muddy field in winter if your lucky then wait for ages to get in walk past the broken windows and peeling paint to find someone sitting in you seat.
Then spend the match looking at a stand that looks like a half finished warehouse, is it any wonder there was only 5400 there yesterday!

The tannoy has always been rubbish so nothing new there. I sit in the upper west, north side, and I have never been able to hear the tannoy properly. The queue to get in when I got there was a complete joke and I guessed it must have been something to do with the ticketing system. I have been a season ticket holder ever since we moved to Sixfields and before and I would have been mightily pissed if someone had been sitting in my seat, but luckily I was ok.

As for the East Stand I agree it's not a pleasant experience looking at it but there is more chance of our beloved politicians getting on with each other than the hideous monstrosity ever being finished.

I can't really comment on £3 for a bottle of water as I have never bought a bottle in my life.

Just a load of first world problems by the sound of it. If it's going to stop people coming to a game , it makes me wonder just what do they expect, apart from football .

I don’t think you fully understand the issue, the club are selling tickets for the same seat twice.

If this had been a sellout yesterday they would have had to eject one of us from the stadium as we weren't the only seats double sold.

It's all good saying all is good but what happens if your seat is double booked on a sellout game and the person in the seat refuses to leave the seat?

Never had a problem asking them to move on many occasions its happened,  only once when a Portsmouth fan was sat there did it become an issue,  even so he moved when persuaded.
As I say if it's such a big cocern for you to stop you coming, makes me wonder what you expect from life.
