We'd have to give them Sixfields and the surrounding land; commercially wouldn't be worth considering for the Saints otherwise.

One (if not the main or only) objective of Thomas seems to be to use any profit on the land development to go someway to repaying his directors' loan account so that would need to be a consideration too.

They'll be plenty of stuff to consider but still think it would be worth exploring

Lets try and avoid Thomas/CDNL taking all the running track from our club in order for NTFC to gradually build up a similar ground to Franklin gardens at Sixfields?
probably too late now but we can live in hope.
Looks like the basement division will forever be our destiny.

I see that Coventry are having a pitch inspection ahead of tomorrows game, due to the pesky rugby being played there during the Commonwealth Games. So much for super duper pitches, and were barely in August.

Postponed.

Wouldn't have happened in the seventies. They'd have just saturated it and got on with it. Cool

I love the idea of a ground share for a couple of seasons and then a purpose built shared stadium in the old Sixfields site - The gardens aren’t big enough for the Saints and Sixfields too small for any real progress for us - would need a level of cooperation never seen before but a 25,000 state of the art stadium would be fantastic for the town.

We need more of this ambition and vision

Pop concerts there too over the summer.....no investment in the pitch, either moneywise or timewise!

Let's move to the County Ground and share with the cricket codgers. Central location, fantastic facilities. Ok, so we might have to settle for a three-sided ground. Oh, hang-on...

I believe there is a covenant on the height of any development at Franklins Gardens so if the Saints want to expand the options are swap and expand to 25K Sixfields or move and become MK Saints!!!

It looks like it has three legs. That’s if you rather generously add the not sure’s to the it’s a good idea mob.

Given the fact that you didn’t even offer a simple NO, I’d say it was all pointless. But don’t let me put you off. Go and have a chat with Kelvin about giving up all the land his spent ages fighting for. Then pop down to the Saints and ask them for the keys. You might surprise me 😁😁
