This reads as if all three have been out for a while!

Appere has been starting week in week out and we still have only one once in 8!

Lord give me strength!!

We've only got two more games to play in November. We should be well rested come the busy Christmas period.

Surely 3, Brad, Gills and Tranmere we might even use the vacant date to play AN.Other . What do you think subby your on fire with maths

Some massive over reaction on this forum and other social media .
We are not playing well currently but do go through phases when we do actually perform decently in patches .
We are generally a young side with a lot to learn and people will make mistakes .
They will also go in and out of form as Leonard , Bowie , Lintott and Sherring all have .
Pinnock needs to pick things up and Hylton needs to prove his worth .
Koiki is a big miss because Haynes can’t defend very well and McWilliams will regain form.
Eppiah was clearly a mistake .
It’s bumpy at the minute but we have a good management team operating with a budget way below mid table . We will come good again .

We did not miss out on a good draw in round 2. Chesterfield are away to the winners of the Weymouth v AFC Wimbledon replay, presumably AFC as they will be at home.

Im guessing that Chesterfield would have a different number ball anyway?

No, Chesterfield were ball 38, as we would have been had we won....as it was the 38th tie drawn in the 1st round draw.

It’s bumpy at the minute but we have a good management team operating with a budget way below mid table. We will come good again.

I'm interested. You say we have a budget "way below midtable". Well, midtable is 12th/13th, just below midtable would-be 14th/16th, below midtable 17th/19th, so "way below midtable" has to be 20th/24th. Can you produce the figures you have to show this? Also, are you saying if we finish anywhere above 20th we'll have performed well? (considering the budget)

We are around 17th in the table mark and are massively over performing according to budget. People do not realise this .
No , i can’t tell you where this has come from but it is common knowledge amongst the other teams , agents and players in football. Everyone knows each other’s budget levels .

"It will definitely be a top 10 budget. It won’t be Stockport, it won’t be Salford and it won’t be some of the other teams who are really spending big money but it will be a competitive budget and we will aim to overachieve as we did last season"

Stevenage have a bigger budget than Northampton …

Would be surprised if Stevenage have a bigger budget, they don’t appear to have the sort of decent players we do. Regarding the thorny subject of budget and over achieving Label is common enough when we do well. It was first attached under Bowen, then Carr onto Wilder and now with Brady. Perhaps it is the secretive signing on fee which maybe the game changer? It was under Carr!

Thankfully football is played on the pitch and not a spreadsheet. The league table of playing budget at our level will be speculation and ours is clearly competitive. No complaints about how Cardoza and Thomas have backed the playing side.
It rarely reflects the table anyway, otherwise Man U would be top and Wrexham would already be a league club.

At last a sensible and reasoned post. There has been a massive over reaction after Saturday's defeat. Yes we are in a sticky run, all sides have them. If we had a near full strength squad to pick from these last 7 or 8 games then I would be worried.
I can't comment on the budget, so won't get involved in that one!

I seem to remember Cardoza new where the budget was in comparison to others too, so I assume all clubs have to submit their playing budget to the EFL at some point.

Budget must play a big part but it also comes down to how it is spent. No good having the highest budget if it is spent it on players the manager no longer wants or are not performing.
