Right. I've bitten my tongue for long enough.
Manwork, why do you feel the need to emblazon another clubs' crest all over our forum. I've nothing against Rangers and if you want to support more than one team, that's your choice. But to see that glaring out on every thread, to me, degrades this forum and demeans Northampton Town Football Club. Do you emblazon our crest all over Rangers' forums? I think not. It wouldn't be allowed/tolerated and I'm surprised our moderators allow it on here.

Doesn’t bother me Shoey.
If anything it adds to the drama / fun that is Manny.

Also, we need to realise that folks (especially south of the border) that staunchly support Celtic or Rangers do it for reasons that transcend sport / football. Their allegiances are more about tribal bigotry and political statement than they are a sporting preference.

Mind you, I would like to think that Manny has a NTFC badge on his signature when he’s on the Rangers site.

I'd wager he doesn't.

Why? It's relevant to Cobblers Corner and NTFC.

It's fairly simple, settings-Profile, I've just done it, you just need the picture on your computer.

I've used the programme cover from the first Cobblers game I ever went to, home match with Liverpool in 1966.

Who's bleating? I'm just raising awareness. As fothe Ulster flag, it's not glorifying another football team on our forum.

Look on the bright side; at least it's not a Celtic badge!

(For the record, there's no sectarian bias there, I just went to a Celtic match once and amongst all the drunken thuggery, theft and anti-English/pro IRA singing going on I developed an intense dislike of the club and its supporters!)

Thanks Marvo I may give it a try. I was at that game too, a 0-0 draw. It was however far from being my first game.

Shoey, Rangers is a lot more than a football club, I mean no offence to any Cobblers fans whatsoever.

My other half wore a Bradford City/Northampton Town...fetching claret & white/yellow number at Bradford this season.
Quite a lot of Bradford fans seemed to like it in Record Cafe, Sparrow and later in the Fighting Cocks!

I remember being in Berlin a few years back, at the same time as the German cup final. One lad in the hostel had about ten H&H, one dangling from his wrist, (bay city rollers stylee), and one tied around his waist, with the others hanging from it, like a kilt. He wanted to swap one for my Lonsdale London polo shirt.

I don't know how old you are but I remember back at the County Ground nearly every week the chant used to go up "Rangers" followed by the response "Celtic". It seemed back then that everybody favoured one or the other.

As usual I was the odd one out, used to like Hearts mainly because they played in Claret.
