I had a thread blocked yesterday. I don't think I broke any forum rules, apologies if I did, so it looks like it was blocked after being "hijacked?" Wouldn't it be possible to just delete any offending posts rather than locking the entire thread?
Hi Marvo
Any thread that is likely to centre around attendances, or indeed potential lost revenue, will invariably attract attention predominantly from those who are fed up with the East Stand debacle. Probably most of us
You finished your post with this "Say what you like about some of our detractors but maybe they are right and we do need a capacity increase. Something to consider if indeed we are getting new contactors in to finish the East Stand". Now, I would be extremely surprised if you or anybody else wouldn't have taken that as a green light to discuss future expansion, E.g. redevelopment. We have a thread for that discussion.
In terms of deleting individual posts. We try our best to only delete posts that are likely to offend or misrepresent a situation. But Equally we will delete occasional posts that are completely irrelevant to the thread. As I stated. Your ending sentence in that post legitimised the subsequent posts.
