As always votes in after the match and before 2359 on Thursday
The pleasing goal on Saturday came from three important forward touches and it was the goal-scorer APPERE that captured your POTM with the sponsor's POTM SOWERBY scooping second amongst your votes, only 1 other player received votes so in third place was LEONARD.
What looked impossible for the first half of the season now sees Hoskins lead at the top of the POTS table down to just 0.5 points as Appere closes in on him. Sowerby moves up 2 places to 5th whilst Leonard improves his midtable score.
Crewe Summary
Appere received 12 votes and scores 3 points Sowerby received 9 votes and scores 2 points Leonard received 6 votes and scores 1 point

Obviously, everyone is showing their support for Marvo's opinion and refusing to vote for Super Sam on principle.
Just wait until he gets a hattrick tomorrow....... And we lose 4 - 3.

I don't think anyone stood out today, it was a team effort for me. However I will give it to Sam Hoskins for getting to the magical 20 goal mark and for virtually making the game safe.

I agree it was very much a team effort with no obvious stand out. I’ll give it to Pinnock who I thought was much improved.

Only watched on IFollow, but I thought Guthrie had a poor first half (by his standards).
No major gut feeling other than job done and a win never looked in doubt. However, I am going for McGowan for being solid in an unfamiliar position. But t

Hmmm decisions decisions. Sam gets his 20th league goal of the season; Guthrie was solid; Mitch scored a great opener and I’m surprised nobody has mentioned Leonard who’s chase down was the reason Mitchell panicked and gave the ball to Sam. However for pure entertainment, I’m giving my vote to Yengi... just kidding - Hoskins

but a warm welcome to David Norman who came on as a late defender, slotted in well and did not put a foot wrong in a jolly good cameo as they sometimes remark on here.

Hoskins for me. Took his goal well, had an assist in the first and made his usual 100% effort during the game.

Hoskins as well, 20 league goals in a season and 36 years since the last time. How can you not?

Burge was faultless as far as I could tell - virtually nothing to do.
Has to be Sam Hoskins. Two more outfield goals (as opposed to penalties) and his legendary status will be confirmed.
Imagine Marvo's bar bill on Saturday night.

Hoskins
Special mentions for Pinnock, who had a great game and to McGowan who looked very comfortable even though he was not in his natural position.
