Following in the footsteps of luminaries such as Efon Elad and Derek Asamoah. Michael Uwezu is our new 'bottle of fizzy pop'

Is this the first Nigerian to play for the club?
Did anybody ever report if Bauza is the first Spaniard?

Bauza is the first Spaniard we've had on a permanent basis, I believe. And no, Uwezu isn't the first Nigerian to play for the club- Bayo was Nigerian, but there were probably others before him too.

According to soccerbase he doesn't exist. Is it possible his name has been spelt incorrectly?
